level 12 and the constructor just raped me the first try. Cut through the level like nothing, then just couldn't put a dent in the shield.

advice?

 

the shield reflects damage so yeah wait tillit goes away

is it just me or do assault rifles suck in this game. liked em a lot better in the last one. and i'm missing revolvers too.

Yeah if you have some games to trade and one of the those power up cards you could get some decent money on tradeins at gamestop.

Also if you have a 360 I will be up to playing coop on another character if you need someone to game with. XBM Bama is my gt.

 

Just found a level 46 Orange mod for my commando in one of dr. Zed's vending machines. I never get that lucky.

I've come to the conclusion that this game is very difficult to beat playing solo. I try and do every side mission possible and am still only a level 15 with the only mission available to select is

the W4RD3N machine that took Roland

and that motherfucker is almost impossible to beat at level 15. However, there really are no other missions for me to select to try and level up.

 

it sounds more like you just don't have any good weapons. that mission is tougher than a lot, but if you have a good rocket launcher and just focus fire on the eye of the constructor at the end, it's not too bad. leave the stuff he spawns around so when you die you can shoot them pretty easy to revive. what class are you, because the action skill can come in handy as well.

 

I'm doing ok with solo play on the first playthrough, but I'm reading that people are having real problems with playthrough 2 solo so I'm kinda dreading that.

I'm at level 34 with a few story missions left. I've farmed a few bosses along the way for gear that also bumped me up multiple levels, so I should end up in the mid to upper 30's at the end of the firs playthrough.

 

Playing with CUtigers we just finished killing Dr. Ned's Abomination and just earned Level 32. Those Skarraks were a fucking bitch to kill.

 

yeah, I haven't finished that one yet, I've just done the first mission in that series. Today I'm probably finally going to do the story mission that opens up the Arid Badlands so I can continue that with the Rakk parts mission from Ned.

 

got it last night, girlfriend wanted to play co op with me.

Played for almost 3 hours last night, she finished with aspirations of learning how to "move and shoot at the same time."

aiming high.

 

I just got the Bee shield on my 5th try. I've read some people have farmed that guy hundreds of times to try and get it. Feel kind of guilty, but it's only a level 28 version so not that guilty.
