A corrosive infinity pistol... multiple levels of want. What's the skullsmasher? And leech grenades are better for raid bosses IMO
The skullmasher is the legendary sniper rifle that does 8847x5 dmg... It's not that great because its a 5 projectile spread, but if you connect with all 5, it can do crazy amounts of dmg... CUtigers I'm gonna have to go through what all you got yesterday (and my other buddy) and find out what all I'm missing... I know I'm missing multiple rocket launchers, relics, other guns, shields... Almost like an entire chunk of that "haul" just disappeared...
i finished the game and did all side missions but i think im at 41 or 42 total, and the challenge is for 45, does that include the DLC? i gotta get back to sanctuary, apparently there are few more there?
if we aren't already friends, add CUtigers48 I get off work at 6 Eastern and will probably be on 30-40 minutes after that
Thanks for the guns, I'll be sure to dupe and share with anyone else who needs. Once I get a better mic we'll hit up the dlc soon as it drops.
no man... Sad thing is, once the new DLC hits, I think the lvl cap is increasing and all that stuff will steadily become useless... That's why I finally said fuck trying to farm for it anymore and just hit the jackpot from some random...
http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/11/16/fight-for-your-loot-in-borderlands-2s-torgue-dlc Spoiler Fight for Your Loot in Borderlands 2ās Torgue DLC EXPLOSIONS! by Andrew GoldfarbNOVEMBER 16, 2012 Borderlands 2ās second expansion -- Mr. Torgueās Campaign of Carnage -- will launch on November 20th. Like Captain Scarlett and Her Pirateās Booty before it, Campaign of Carnage offers new areas for players to explore, three new achievements, a new currency and plenty of new missions for players level 15 or higher, with enemies scaled to your level. The basic story of Campaign of Carnage revolves around a new vault discovered in Pandora, buried in the center of a large crater that will only open āonce the champion of Pandora feeds it the blood of the ultimate coward.ā Your introduction to Mr. Torgueās Campaign of Carnage comes via Mr. Torgue himself, screaming at you like a terrifying mix of Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage with a deep love for explosions. As Mr. Torgue describes the new vault, āwe at the Torgue Corporation sincerely believe this is f**king awesome -- so awesome that we're going to set up a tournament to find this number one badass.ā That tournament takes place in an arena that will serve as the centerpiece of the expansion, built around the Badass Crater of Badassitude where the vault is buried. Youāll need a sponsor to participate, and one of the first new characters youāll meet is Piston, a scarily-large brawler with engine pistons for hands. Sitting down to play the Campaign of Carnage, itās obvious that Gearbox intends this expansion to be played by its most hardcore players. Torgueās campaign mixesBorderlands 2ās typical mission structure with the Circles of Slaughter seen in the main game, using horde mode-style battles to punctuate story missions throughout its running time, which is roughly the same as the previous expansion.Like in Pirateās Booty, enemies have been replaced by new versions related to the theme -- Marauders become bikers, Goliaths become Enforcers -- but Campaign of Carnage has plenty of new enemies to offer as well. The expansion includes multiple bosses, like Pyro Pete (a surprisingly lassez-faire flamethrowing psychopath), Motor Mama (a ārather buxom lady on a motorcycle with twin sidecarsā according to concept designer Scott Kester), and Badassaurus Rex (a ābig crazy Torgue-themed robotic dinosaur breathing fireā).Badassaurus Rex isn't very friendly.According to Kester, the expansion is built around āthe culture of combat,ā and itās not shy about exploring it. Playing the first hour, itās clear that youāll be fighting. A lot. The only ones fighting more than you are your various enemies, who are just as likely to hurt each other as they are to attack you. Combat doesnāt become too repetitive, though. Aside from the story missions and arena bouts, youāll come across an additional Circle of Slaughter in a bar brawl early on, and even when you do revisit the main arena youāll encounter different combat scenarios each time. As for that new currency, unique vending machines spread throughout the Campaign of Carnageās new areas will only accept Torgue Tokens, which youāll have to scavenge from killed enemies. Each machine features a selection of badass Torgue guns and always offers a legendary weapon in the Item of the Day slot. Campaign of Carnage will also feature some familiar faces, including Tannis, Moxxi and even Tiny Tina, who Kester says has āher own thoughts about sponsorship.ā Tina will also offer a new subset of weapons, and based on her affinity for explosions itās not hard to guess what theyāll do.Mr. Torgue really loves carnage.Looking ahead, Gearbox says itās already thinking about the next downloadable content. Eventually, the developer has plans to raise Borderlands 2ās level cap, but not in the way you might expect. āWeāre discussing trying to do it in a more interesting way,ā Gearbox vice president of marketing Steve Gibson told IGN. āWe think people are going to be really happy when we do get to it. Itās a little bit different way of doing it. Yes, the number will go up, but there are some other things associated with it that weāre trying to do an even better job of.ā Like Pirateās Booty, Campaign of Carnage will be available for $9.99, or as part of the $29.99 Season Pass that includes access to four Borderlands 2 expansions through June 2013. Stay tuned to IGN for a full review of Campaign of Carnage in the coming week, but until then find everything you need to know about Pandora in our Borderlands 2 wiki. Glad to have some more Tiny Tina. Best character in the game, IMO
The voice actor in Borderlands 1 for scooter was better than the one in 2. Either that or I was just used to it and I fear change.
after reading that article, I'm interested to see how the level cap increase will be different this time.
Debatable. I love pretty much every character in Borderlands. But handsome jack is my favorite in Borderlands 2. Borderlands 1 scooter is my favorite.
they said they're going to in the article or at least the video in the article. not this dlc but in the future. however they said they're gonna do it in a new way and not based off the level 50 number or whatever. if i had to guess i'd think it'd be kinda like diablo 3 does it now with paragon levels.
New campaign was pretty good, haven't done any of the sidequests yet. I found the very end to be a little lack-luster.
I almost don't want a level cap increase because then all of my legendary weapons become obsolete. Pretty disappointed with the new DLC. My game glitched and I didn't get the Lootsplosion (which is fairly common from what I have read) and we get another raid boss we can only farm once a day.
That is what I heard. I guess Pete has a pretty good chance to drop legendary items including the legendary class mods. I still don't have a legendary class mod for either of my two characters since we have hell getting Vermivorous to spawn.
Got this on the steam sale. Anyone else playing this on PC? I'm up to level 17, loving it more than the 1st Tiny Tina is hilarious
you nogs wanna take down terramorphous tonight? i need to beat his ass. then im doin the DLCs but 6ish? 8ish? what up bruhs
