No that's the old DLC from BL2. This is a whole new game. You actually can create your own character in this. A bit different from previous games.
Piss poor UI/UX and level design, but really fun combat from the way reviews make it sound. Hear the story is better than 3, but that's not surprising with how bad the writing was for that one (great gameplay, though). Looks fun to me, but will probably wait for a decent sale. I'm hoping Elden Ring has a major impact on future franchises open world design, simple but really useful maps, and mission structures. They either have faith in the consumer to actually explore and find things, or they just don't give a damn whether you do find their secrets. Either way, it makes video games way more enjoyable when I don't have a quest marker telling me where to go 95% of the time. That's about my only knock on HFW, but I think their quest design is so strong that it doesn't bother me as much.
Started another playthrough of all the games. Finished BL1, almost through BL2, then off to DLC and BL3. Such a fun franchise.
I used to watch a guy named Moxy. He had a ton of good BL3 builds. I played with Zane mostly. Loved the speed. But Moze seemed to the most OP. At least from what I remember.

Almost done with a normal play through with Zane. All Jacobs but I think I’m gonna add a manufacturer for tvhm. Going through the dlc before I go tvhm.
Saw the enhanced borderlands 1 goty version was $10 on xbl. About to get my mordercai on for the first time in 10+ years
I’ve made it to mayhem 6 with a Zane build that absolutely fries. Jacobs and Dahl only. so far I basically only ever use hellwalker and soul render. Gonna work up to mayhem 11 and do all the raid content.
Weapons wise I was up to last night only using those manufactures. I went through the story only using jakobs but added Dahl for mayhem then last night I got the light show and I’ve softened my stance all together. I will say that it was super fun just sticking to a manufacturer while I leveled to 72. Really enjoyed it.

Looks bad. So many weird choices. We get Tannis and Krieg but no Brick or Mordecai? Kevin Hart was a terrible choice for Roland.
I’m going to watch just bc I love borderlands but I’m just telling myself this takes place in an entirely different universe. I’m not expecting it to be anything like the games and the casting is terrible.
