Yeah, there’s genuinely nothing different between it and the original Bosch. Hell, it’s got most of the same characters.
I haven’t noticed anything different but the adds. Even nice seeing of the crew comeback. Wasn’t expecting to see them, thought it would be all honey, Maddie, and Bosch.
so it's worth watching? Just getting ready to start S7 and Maddie is the worst part of the show (by far) in my opinion which has given me pause about the spinoff as I was told she's largely the focus?
She’s one of the main characters, but the show is still centered on Harry. If you liked Bosch, it’s a continuation of the show, in both style and substance.
I wouldn’t call her the focus. They do a pretty good job of mixing between honey, and Bosch and Maddie has a good amount of time so far. Bosch is the focus, then honey, then Maddie imo. they still do a main plot with multiple other plots that get resolved throughout the season like the main bosch of that makes sense
Bosch is a great show, 1 thing did bother me about this season though. Vance's pen, not sure what it proved besides there being 2 pens. The secretary already amended the will and Vance gave her a replica to send to Bosch so why did she feel the need to get rid of it. Maybe there's an angle I'm missing but that part has bothered me a bit too much.
First two episodes were good. I'm enjoying that this is just Bosch continued but as a private detective. I was worried the transition to Freevee would be an entirely different show, but it's not two seasons in.
Is Legacy worth watching? I enjoyed the original series but his daughter and her storylines were always my least favorite parts so I never gave it a shot
Harry Bosch is set to work his last case as Bosch: Legacy heads towards its third and final season, and judging by the series trailer that dropped on Thursday, we’re set to learn some dark secrets about his past.
