Was also really funny that Talking Head loved it and told people Shane was people should look to in order to understand white voters. I'm not sure he was wrong but it was still funny as hell.

To be clear the racist stuff is bad but tons of posters had that in their past just like thrasher and tons of posters had told other posters to kill themselves. A lot of people just didn't like him and wanted him banned which I mean fine but just say that.
I really never noticed the purge since I had so many of them blocked I never noticed. I will say it is nice that there are now only a couple times a week that people argue with the leftovers and you see pages of replies to comments you can’t see, so I guess it’s much nicer in that regard.
Gotta say my toxic trait is taking pleasure in the threads that randomly and spontaneously devolve into an airing of the grievances

seems like that would lean toward more of an embrace of professional racism it amazes me how clearly people remember all the minutiae of this board. I’m on here a lot and have a pretty good memory but a lot of posters and threads run together for me. Meanwhile we’ve got guys like “he said x in response to y and it was in z thread but they had history due to abc”
Thrasher was a weird mix of pretty liberal, but just couldn't shake that deep rooted white flight Montgomery private school/2009-tmb persona of being openly racist (I think mostly joking).

Maybe I’m misremembering, but it seemed like most of the posters in this category kind of admitted that it was wrong and shitty whereas Thrasher would regularly double down on it. To be fair, I feel confident that Thrasher’s posting history is approximately 7000% less offensive than @dump’s.
I've been an active poster for roughly 10 years and there's so much shit on here that predates that back to the Rivals days that I still feel like I'm new, it's wild.
