Not sure of all the specifics but her father is generally considered a terrible person and has been for years. Add in the fact that child stars regularly have mental issues down the road, due largely to being denied a normal childhood, it wouldn't surprise me at all if most of that is true, especially considering the amount of money she generates. It sad. That might be a run on sentence.

what about this concept is difficult to grasp, it happens every day with thousands of elderly people and their children. people that are physically or mentally incapable of fully caring for themselves are placed under the protection of a guardian who then goes about helping them wherever that's needed be it day-to-day help, financial guidance, etc. Britney the person isn't a ward, she's capable of the basic stuff like food and shelter, what the court has deemed she needed help with is her estate (read: money) which is where her father initially stepped in. Britney herself isn't asking to be set free from her father, she's simply asking for someone else to take over the role since she and/or people around her feel her father has ulterior motives in mind when managing her estate.

this isn't a "I've got too much money, I need help" thing, she is mentally ill and someone could bilk her out of what she has more easily than the average, mentally healthy person. it's the same reason kids often take over their parent's financials at a point because the elderly are more prone to being scammed when their mental faculties start to fail them.
It would either be some slimy manager, her family, or some one like Kevin Federline making financial decisions for her. I guess her family is the lessor of the evils.
I mean, probably yes? court ordered conservatorships in situations like this are incredibly rare which means they had a damn good reason to order one. she had a complete breakdown in front of the country like 12-15 years ago, got 5150'd, it was some spectacle. it is exceptionally difficult to get control of someone else's life unless the circumstances are painfully obvious like an elderly parent with dementia or a severely physically handicapped person, the courts do not hand these out willy nilly. by and large if you can eat, shit, and stay warm/dry then the courts are not in the habit of letting someone else control you and/or your finances. she most likely has a diagnosed mental illness that just hasn't been released publically yet. again, this is primarily about her estate and not about her as a person. the large amount of money involved is probably why things were put in motion in the first place and could have weighed in on what the court decided to do.

From what I understand her dad structured her entire career where he had total control and manipulated her into agreeing to things as she entered adulthood. Especially at times when she was pretty clearly vulnerable.
Supposedly he was the one that called off her Vegas residency. She had stopped taking her meds and he gave her the ultimatum to take her meds or the show is done. She said no and he had “medical problems” so that he could break her contract without owing the casino millions of dollars
My gf was telling me about this whole conspiracy with Britney and her dad. Apparently, in one video on instagram someone commented that if she needed help she should wear yellow in her next video, and she wore a yellow shirt the next time she posted.
Yeah, I’ve seen some of those things too. People have pointed out some of her videos where she is like holding a hat while dancing around but she is holding it weird. Then if you zoom in on her hand it looks like she is actually pointing to something scribbled on the hat that looks like “call 911” or “send help” or something
I’ve also seen people say that she wants to get out of the conservatorship because she wants to have kids with her Grecian God of a boyfriend but her dad made sure that the conservatorship says she is not allowed to have kids or even drive a car. I think she only has like 25% custody of her kids with K-Fed even
