He is exactly the type of player we need on defense. He's not what he once was but he has attitude and leadership and I suspect he'll hold the group to a high standard like Landry has. But then we do have Robert Jackson and Tavierre Thomas already.
I dislike a LOT of players in the NFL. JJ Watt, for example, is one of the biggest dildo douche bags I’ve ever seen. That said, I would personally send him mirrors and cameras for him to do flex-offs with his dickhole brothers if he somehow made his way to Cleveland. Be on my team and help us win, I’ll gladly look the other way.
Today I learned saying you don’t want Richard Sherman means you’re good with what they had last year. Crazy. Hey, let’s bring him in though. I anxiously await him teaching Ward how to shit on people he has no experience with on Twitter, or maybe he can show Chubb how lying about an opponent can cause a unwarranted media storm! Such a great locker room presence!
HotMic I was just poking fun at you, you’re entitled to your opinion; even if everyone else thinks you’re crazy. But stop trying to justify it/convince others they’re wrong
Lol the Randall Joiner post is honestly one of the worst takes I've ever seen. "You know who else was a captain? Adolf Hitler of his sixth grade tennis team. You still want to sign Sherman?"
How? He’s been a leader and a player younger guys have looked up to for a while. He’s a champion and multiple time team captain.
OSU should get rid of Gee Scott Jr. I don’t like the influence Sherman has had on him. Sure to fuck up the locker room
Lastest TDN is pretty much my draft: 26. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame 58. Ifeatu Melifonwu, CB, Syracuse 89. Jabril Cox, LB, LSU 91. Quincy Roche, DE, Miami 110. Andre Cisco, SAF, Syracuse 130. Darius Stills, DT, West Virginia 168. Dazz Newsome, WR, North Carolina 206. Rachard Wildgoose Jr., CB, Wisconsin 250. Tarron Jackson, DE, Coastal Carolina
I thought Goodson was pretty good this year and would like to bring him back on a reasonable contract. Not a superstar but good depth and was solid in coverage and is only 27.
I would agree. But, if you can get him at a reasonable price, I think he’d be a great locker room guy for a young team like the Browns.
He's made enough money in his career that I wouldn't be shocked if he's looking for a team who made the final 8 last year on a lower check. We had how much tied up in Olivier Vernon last year? You also don't need him to be great and healthy for a season, just great and healthy for a few games in December and January.

Torn on this one. His production has decreased immensely, but I think he could still be productive in situational pass rush packages. Don't think he is a 3 down DE anymore. I also think he could be a great locker room guy because he plays hard all the time (when healthy). Add him, trade OBJ to TB for Godwin, and then focus on defense in the draft.
If it comes down to signing Watt vs signing a few solid pieces on D ... sign me up for the latter. Also, no doubt in my mind that Watt has some level of interest in Cleveland.
i would be ok with a 2nd and 4th this year for OBJ. Assuming there is an impactful FA class that opens up the possibility to add a WR in the first or 2nd. Very deep WR class, be interested to see who would fall to 26
I really want JJ, but I don't want to be dumb with our money. We need JJ and like 3 more pieces on defense.
Offseason: Sign SAF Anthony Harris to a 4 year deal Sign DE JJ Watt to a 2 year deal Sign CB Mike Hilton to a 3 year deal Sign LB Matt Milano to a 3 year deal Sign SAF Malik Hooker to a 1 year deal Sign OL Matt Feiler to a 2 year deal Resign: Higgins, Goodson, Mitchell, Lamm Draft: 26. Ronnie Perkins, DE, Oklahoma 170. Joshuah Bledsoe, SAF, Missouri 211. Jarret Patterson, RB, Buffalo 248. Paddy Fisher, LB, Northwestern Two deep: QB: Mayfield - Keenum RB: Chubb - Hunt WR: Beckham - Peoples-Jones WR: Landry - Higgins TE: Hooper - Bryant/Njoku OT: Wills - Lamm OG: Bitonio - Feiler C: Tretter - Harris OG: Teller - Hance OT: Conklin - Hubbard DE: Garrett - Clayborn DT: Togiai - Billings DT: Richardson - Elliot DE: Watt - Dimukeje LB: Owusu-Koramoah - Takitaki LB: Goodson - Phillips LB: Milano - Wilson CB: Ward - Adebo S: Harrison - Bledsoe S: Harris - Delpit/Hooker CB: Williams - Mitchell SLOT: Hilton - Stewart
i'm betting we see extensions for Chubb, Teller, Ward and Mayfield. Berry is all about extending early if he believes in the talent/character/fit
