not to make any excuse at all, but if he wanted to inflict pain on that woman, he very well could have. In fact, he could have done what Ray Rice did if he wanted to inflict serious pain. I get the idea though, a quick spur of the moment reaction vs. a long, drawn out reaction
interesting signing. coming off two injury plagued seasons. of course initial speculation is that it has something to do with Higgins or Perriman not coming back. I'm leaning more likely that Ratley, Willies, or Ricardo Louis are on their way out with this deal.
A lot of talk that Perriman's people are going to demand too much and he most likely won't be back...that is apparently his representative's MO.
i believe it, and i'm totally fine with that. i loved what he contributed to us this year, but let somebody else overpay him.
Clark is coming off of a nice season in Seattle; his first season starting all 16 games. He's only 25, and if he continues to progress, his best football is most likely still in front of him However, I've seen a lot of rumors that he is the most likely 'franchise tag' candidate in Seattle. We'll see how this plays out...but I would welcome the addition to the DL.
hell fucking yes. Clark's production is off the charts and only 25. would love that. come on Seattle... no tag please.
The draft network. They just launched it today. It's pretty cool. Best draft website around in general
combined with the fact that the GB think trust has only drafted one WR in round 1 in the last 29 years.... very unlikely. Isn't the 3rd round the earliest Dorsey has ever taken a WR?
smart. glad its not a long term thing. gives him another prove it year. gives us time to either draft & develop, or see if we want to invest in him for 3+yrs.
Nope. He's not an AJ Green or Julio Jones type of impact WR. Give me an elite defensive player (DT) over him all day every day at 17.
I think we'll sign Frank Clark and address DT in FA as well. I'd still take a DL/CB in round one if there's a guy you love. I know it's not a need but I'd love to have TJ Hockenson. He's a nasty run blocker and you could do some fun things with he and Njoku on the field at the same time. He just seems like a guy that ends up in Pittsburgh and kills us for ten years.
Did my first mock simulator and ended up with.. 17. Christian Wilkins DT 49. Devin Bush LB 80. David Sills WR 95. Parris Campbell WR 113. Jace Sternberger TE 134. Tyree Jackson QB 145. TJ Edwards LB 160. Ben Burr-Kirven LB 176. Lil'Jordan Humprey WR 199. Byron Cowart Edge
With 10 picks, I can see us addressing some needs in the trade market. We are already very young, and don't really need to add 10 rookies to the roster. I think trades for Justin Houston and/or Gerald McCoy are on the table. Both could be cut because of salaries, so it wouldn't take much to get either (speculation a pick in the 4 or 5 range). Both 30 years old and have a good 3-4 years left in the tank. Both would be nice additions to add to our youth. Houston and Garrett at the bookends would be an absolute nightmare for opposing offenses. That having been said, if we don't add a DT in FA or through a trade, Christian Wilkins is my dream pick at 17. He is the best mix of run-stopper and pass rusher at DT in the draft IMO. Not too mention the most athletic and versatile DT in the draft (played a full year at DE as a sophomore). But most of all, he is a leader and a culture builder. He would leadership and a change of culture to the defense like Baker brought to the offense.
I’d be great with Wilkins, Greedy, or Murphy at 17. I could be talked into Metcalf. I think White, Hockenson, Oliver and all the edge guys will be gone by then. I like Simmons a lot, but you can’t spend a 1st on a guy who isn’t going to play this year. No thanks on an OL. No thanks on any of the other WR’s.
Because there’s no chance in hell we get those three players. Site is really cool, some of the player profiles need updated.
Allen could go a bit higher than that, or a lot higher if he kills the combine, but pre combine those landing spots arent far off for any of those guys. It's the most comprehensive collection of player profiles there is currently and they're updating the shit daily
Lane saying things not looking great with Perriman due to Rosenhaus. Mentions "the offer was very solid, much as the Browns did on G Rob".
I’d love to keep him, but won’t lose sleep if he’s expecting the FO to break the bank over a few catches.
We also offered a 3 year deal, but he turned it down for the shorter deal...betting on himself. FTR - Robinson allowed just one sack and zero hits in his nine games and 311 pass-blocking snaps last year.
To hear this as a rams fan is surprisingly especially with how terrible he was when he played with the rams.
