the only downside to this trade is now i'm not overly excited for Haskins to be in NY. him with Barkley and OBJ would have been
OBR saying 2 other moves (lower level) done and should be announced soon. Others on Twitter backtracking the potential Earl Thomas signing.
ET3 not coming here. Lane confirms that, says we aren't interested in making someone highest paid S in NFL.
Berry has had a hell of a career, but at this point he’s a guy on the back side of his career who’s dealing with a chronic foot problem and coming off an acl tear.
Should move up a bit and take Jeffrey Simmons imo. Browns can afford to wait on him to get healthy and he's a top 5 player in this draft
Started 10 games and appeared in 15...with minimal production. Played for Wilks in 2014 though, so probably brought in for familiarity and depth.
I think most logical Chiefs fans would be ok with Berry leaving at this point. He's talented but never healthy. If trade him the money goes to Honey Badger or signing a CB/pass rusher worth a shit. I can live with that .
Same thing in Oakland happened with Golden State. As soon as the team got extremely good, tickets went through the roof and only the tech industry could consistently afford them. The diehards and there are many in the bay who could tell you about Troy Murphy and Adoynal Foyle were priced out. I don't want that to happen here.
I don't think it will because Cleveland doesn't have the same type of money that the Bay does but the first home playoff game will have ridiculous demand.
not a shock. i feel like soon as you see a tweet like this from a big media guy, its a last minute desperate ploy for someone to trade for him before he's cut. i hope thats not the case here. i know Ogbah isn't that great, but as a rotational piece he could be real good. he only costs 2 mil against the cap too.
Probably lose Ogbah after this season but I don't understand why we don't keep him for D-Line depth (something we've struggled with forever)
thats my exact thought as well. I mean, I'm all for getting a pick, or another player back from him, but i'm not cool with just straight up cutting him.
You're probably looking at a 4th in a compensatory pick if you let him walk so don't trade him unless it's for more than that.
oh, for sure. but i'm still a bit bothered by letting Nassib for nothing last year when DLine depth was so thin. then we proceeded to sign a bunch of guys who did little to nothing, while Nassib had 6.5 sacks. just a little scarred by that.
Most don’t record themselves beating a woman on the ground. Edit: and Hunt is already on the team. Last thing I’d want is those two prowling the streets together.
What? Did I say anything about you can’t root for the team? I simply stated d prefer the Browns not draft someone with a video of him beating up a high school kid. But to each their own. If your into that thing you do you booboo Edit: whoops I missed you were a buckeye fan. I should’ve known you were cool with that.
