I’ve never been happier to be wrong about anything than I am about my take regarding Baker Mayfield as a NFL QB.
i'd fucking love it more than anything if Sheehy made the roster or the practice squad. I love that kids story. I like having a separate KR and PR on the roster... unless, of course, you have an elite returner (i.e. Hester, Dante Hall, etc). Also, i fucking hate it when your returner is one of your starters, like peppers last year.
wow. just looked up his career ST stats. 33 total Kickoff returns. 22.0 avg, long of 35. 55 total punt returns. 7.3 avg. 3 of over 20 yds. 7 fucking fumbles!!!
i know you weren't. i had it in my head that he had a few crucial fumbles, but didn't know he had 7. thats fucking awful
apparently its something new, not his weed posession stuff from last year. i agree with Corch anywho. Shoulda signed higgy long term this offseason.
For real. I think it was Brent sobieski on Twitter who said Greg Robinson is only guaranteed 500k this year. Cutting him would put 6.5 mil toward Trent Williams
I've watched a couple of Baker's interviews this preseason and every time Tony Grossi asks a question Baker makes him look dumb and I love it.
Grossi is easily the least liked member of all Cleveland media, which is impressive because there's a lot of really dumb ones
Sounds like Hollywood has been tearing up the joint practices with the Colts. He’s going to have a huge year with teams focusing on Odell and Jarvis.
Colts beat writers were saying yesterday that Browns first team WRs were destroying their CBs. Keep in mind that Jarvis and Odell didn't practice. It was Willies, Strong and Higgins.
That wouldn't solve the money issue. Jarvis and Odell are both making a ton, would have to get rid of Jarvis, which I would not be in favor of
Before we traded for OBJ, i was certain that Jarvis was gone after this year. This season is the last one where his contract has a lot of dead $ if we move on. Now that we have OBJ, that parting just gets weird.
I think Jarvis brings more than just what he does on the field. He's a leader on the team and has been great for Baker.
