Hey guys, trying to come down for a game this year b/c my son loves OBJ. Really want to go to the Rams game, anyone have an in on tickets by any chance?
Lol I never thought I'd see a day when Browns tickets were hard to get. You couldn't give them away a few years ago.
I honestly don't even know if they're hard to get, just trying to schedule a date b/c my wife schedules shit way far out and single game tickets aren't on sale yet.
Tickets appear to be available but costs have increased significantly from when I last went to a game 2 years ago. Significantly. Cheapest seats are $112
Am I the only one that isn't that excited about the possibility of sending Ogunjobi to the bench for an aging McCoy?
PFF has McCoy ratted as the #28 DL and Larry as #88. Not that ratings are everything, but. Why can't they both play? McCoy is getting older, give him plenty of rest and give Larry lots of playing time. Seems like it's pretty common, really. McCoy is a better pass rusher than run stopper, so swap them out situationally.
Larry played the most snaps of any DT in football last yr. His production dropped off quite a bit when comparing the beginning of the year to the end. Signing Gerald to move Larry to the bench, I'm not a fan of that either. To give Larry a breather while bringing in a top-tier DT, sign me up.
We currently have Larry, Sheldon and a bunch of JAG's at DT. We really need one more (2 preferably) really good DT's for depth if we really are going in 'win now' mode. We have the money and a 2-3 deal would fall off around the time we need the cap space to sign the young guys. So let's make it happen Dorse.

I'd imagine one of the Ravens/Browns will step up in price to also keep him away from a division rival...
Spoiler Player that knows McCoy....... ADKINSra (6984) 38 months Reply Quote .....tells theOBR, that IF all things are EQUAL in the McCoy dating scene with the Browns and Ravens, he is of the belief McCoy goes to Baltimore due to familiarity with a coach, a few friends and the consistency Baltimore has shown as being a contender/winner type.
Spoiler Have Been Told..... ADKINSra (6985) 38 months Reply Quote ......an opportunity for McCoy to play closer to home (not in FLA but not as far as CLE and BALT) could be on the verge of presenting itself McCoy is visiting in Carolina, so maybe that's it. They only have somewhere around $8M in cap space though.
I read that Carolina was in process of renegotiating a few deals to make them more cap friendly. They can also cut Torrey Smith and free up 5m with no dead $. Rumored to be cutting Vernon Butler too.
more of an FYI. Know Jake, he's a great reporter and awesome dude, so will have a solid reporter putting out Cleveland stories
