Not confirmed yet, but allegedly: Week 3 SNF at home vs Rams Week 5 MNF at SF Week 11 TNF at home vs Steelers
STAND BY IM TRYING OK GEEZ Spoiler Seriously though, I kind of doubt the validity of that. That’s a ton of prime time in a very short amount of time
I wanted that one. National TV...easy win (yeah, I said it...fuck the Jets). Would have been a great opening game.
Only 1/2 of the schedule is a 1PM start 2 Monday Night, 1 Sunday Night, 1 Thursday Prime time 3 of the first 5 Bye week before NE
Titans: W @Jets: W Rams: L @Ravens: L @SF: W Seattle: W @Patriots: L @Denver: L Buffalo: W Steelers: W Miami: W @Steelers: L Bengals: W @Cardinals: W Baltimore: W @Bengals: W 11-5 as well
Like, half of my guinea family from Cleveland is making the trip to AZ. Nine of my buddies are going out for our annual away game trip. Tons of other area people heading out, too. Caaaannnnn’t wait.
difficult four week stretch before the bye, and new england right after. think those first two games are really important
In Phoenix now for work, asked my marketing girl yesterday about getting tickets and she said no problem. Was so stoked till the schedule release. Probably the worst weekend and not sure I can make it work. Fuckkkkk
this is where I was. Quite frontloaded, will be interested to see what people think if they are 4-4 at the halfway point, but don't realize the 2nd half sets up for success. Oh fun fact - Hunt is available for the stretch run against poor comp. Even if they have a losing record at the halfway, playoffs will be in the sights
love it. when i'm talking football with my friends, i always gush about how much i want to have multiple capable RBs, one of which we could give a light load during first half of year only to turn it up the second half. Love the fact that could be Hunt this year. Just hope he keeps his head on straight.
This is easily the least interested I've been in draft in a very long time. Would be cool to trade up a little bit and grab Simmons or Sweat (if the health issues cause him to drop) though.
In years past I’d be only somewhat interested, but knowing Dorsey’s mid-round hit rate I’ll definitely be paying close attention.
I'll be paying attention because I think there is a strong possibility Dorsey moves back up into the back end of the 1st. We aren't adding 8 rookies to this squad. I think he will move some assets (including picks next year) to get a guy he thinks can impact the team immediately.
I think he’ll package and move up, but I’m not convinced it will be into the first round. I definitely think Dorsey moves up in rounds 2-4.
What I gathered from Eliot Wolf’s interview on on the CBD draft podcast: They view DL and interior OL as the target positions for rounds 1-2. OT to some extent. They love the DB and RB depth that can be had in rounds 3-5. Linebacker isn’t a pressing issue to them.
Spoiler JaredKMueller 2061 posts 2 hours agoVIP Been told the Browns have had conversations with multiple teams about trading picks, mostly Day 3 or 2020 Day 3, for veterans. The key will be whether those teams are able to select who they think they will on Day 1 and 2 to make the higher priced or short contract veteran available for a deal. There have been others but the Devone Bess trade sticks out as one the Browns have completed during the Draft process.
Spoiler Trade Up Discussion JaredKMueller (2063) 49 months User Tools 30 minutes ago VIP The Browns continue to talk to a number of teams about possible trade-ups into the 1st Round, as we've been noting for some time. Add the Houston Texans, at #23, as one team that the Browns have talked to and could be interested in moving back, especially if the Texans don't like any of the OT options there.
Spoiler Let's Get To It....... ADKINSra (6928) 37 months Reply Quote .....the Browns have an interest in moving into the first round, but indications to this point are that it will be too cost prohibitive, but if the 'right' player is on the board and the price comes down, they're game. The additional draw is the 5th year option. .....the Browns have spoken with the Raiders, Seahawks and Patriots in recent days. .....Dorsey and staff have worked up numerous draft scenarios, which include dealing talent from the roster as well as later draft picks to gain additional capital in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. .....the Browns do not have any active discussions on the table regarding LB Joe Schobert and the organization has not sought to trade the player. .....while we keep hearing about Safeties in the draft tied to the Browns, we continue to be told the staff has done more work on the CBs and OTs than any position group. .....Dorsey and staff believe DL, TE, and RB is deep in the draft. .....the Browns have received continued interest in RB Duke Johnson from no less than one team in each conference. The Browns will consider moving the player during the draft. .....as we've stated for some time now, the Browns are more than willing to move on from later draft picks, gaining earlier picks and/or talent in return continues to be the target. .....the Browns have actively investigated the possibilities involved to move up from #49 into the early second. .....plenty of noise about the staff is interested in CBs Greedy Williams and Justin Layne. .....the Browns head into the draft fairly certain they will not be able to get to DL SImmons. .....the Browns have spent considerable time evaluating LBs, in the draft and free agency. There has been 'some' discussion/thought regarding the status of Christian Kirksey, but nothing has materialized to date.
Glad to see they're not thinking about trading Schobert. Hoping they can extend him before the season.
Depends on what we got in return. Browns fans in general tend to overrate him in my opinion. Shobert is good coverage, but he is not irreplaceable. He is not great at shedding blocks, fighting to the ball or tackling. If Dorsey thinks there is a better option, then I trust The Dorse.
Who do you want at 49? My personal list: 1. Juan Thornhill 2. Dre’Mont Jones 3. Justin Layne 4. LJ Collier
There should be some solid talent on the board when we pick tomorrow. My 17 favorite players left are below in no particular order...
