It does sound appealing. Either way, we will be staying for most likely 3 nights. The September game would allow an Indians game on either the Friday or Saturday night depending on what day we fly in. I’m not an Indians or White Sox fan, but I enjoy a live mlb game and I didn’t get a chance to catch a game there when I spent the summer playing for the Youngstown express almost 20 years ago.
Incredible weekend. Being a Penn State fan, not giving us much chance at the horseshoe, I will take 1 out of 2 for the wknd, don't want to go 0 for 2.
Going to try to fly back for Den game Thursday night and drive to ND Sat morning for ND/SC. Haven’t been to a Browns game since like 2010ish
Team berry should offer him 8 a year, if he wants to chase more so be it. Cant put 12-15 in a rb. Bad for business. Great player but got 53 dudes to pay.
nah get rid of OBJ’s 15M salary and pay Chubb 12M C McCaf 16 Kamara, Zeke 15 Cook, Henry, Jones, Mixon 12 Melvin Gordon and Saquon 8 I hope the organization doesn’t embarrass itself with an offer of 8 to Chubb. Berry is way too smart for that
I don't think Chubb will ask to reset the RB market but he deserves to be paid like a tier 1 NFL RB and it would be foolish not to. Offer him a rewarding contract with options out after year two and very good incentives if he's still performing as a top RB. The cap is going to go up significantly after this year and he's a core part of the title window opening up.
Mccaffrey is arguably the best in the league and the panthers suck, kamara is good but Saints are cap strapped, zeke had fallen off, don’t understand mixon or Jones. I mean these guys fall off fast and hard. Chubb is my favorite offensive player but I don’t see it. Position doesn’t warrant that money imo
A lot of that might be true but you're not getting Chubb for 8, so you're just going to let him walk after this year in your scenario.
The cap is going to explode. You're going to free up money when Tretter and OBJ are gone. It doesn't make sense not to pay him.
And with Stefanski’s emphasis on running the ball I assume Cleveland always allocates more $ to OL/RB. No chance they just let Chubb walk because the RB position isn’t that valuable.
Despite the lack of value at the RB position in the NFL today, I will be pissed if they let Chubb walk. The guy represents everything you want in a football player. He should hopefully spend his career in Cleveland.
Thoughts on the Browns making a run at Julio? They have the money do take on his 3 year $66 million contract. You can then go Julio, Odell, with Jarvis in the slot. Just limits Higgins snap count. May have to unload one of Landry or Odell though. If Odell was part of the package, I think I would be okay with that. What do you think?
Julio is a beast, but that is alot of money to commit to a 32 year old WR. I'd rather keep the cap flexibility.
i'll be honest, i've kinda been tuned out of football for a bit. does this mean he's unvaccinated? or could he be vaccinated and contracted the virus, or been a close contact?
I could be way off but I’m thinking that vaxxed players don’t have to go through the covid reserve list stuff or contact tracing. So I would assume this means he isn’t vaxxed, which is mind blowing to me
I think it'll be close but I hope so. He's definitely been up and down and it would be cool if he figures it out
