In retrospect, absolutely insane that we implemented a deep pass offense with Greg Robinson as our LT
freddie appears to have been a catastrophically bad hire. which is something we probably should have seen coming
i'm mostly venting, but this is twice in five weeks that we've been absolutely murdered. right now, last week is the outlier, not the norm.
Coulda had Deshaun Watson... Coulda had Carson Wentz... But now you're stuck with Truck Stop Johnny Manziel (that's a socioeconomic joke, not a talent one)
This. We have 2 Ws basically guaranteed against the helpless Bengals (sorry, Devry), and I like our chances against the Cardinals, Dolphins, and Steelers.
He tried to do the same to that guy that told everyone he's in academia at every possible opening iirc.
POSITIVE POST Even if we're mediocre / below average, we should still go 5-2 in our last 7 games (beat Bengals twice, AZ, Dolphins, split Steelers, lose Baltimore). @ 1-4 Denver also looking good, so if we split the two tough but winnable home games (Seattle / Buffalo), we're still looking at 9-7 The product on the field is bad to terrible, but if we're just 7-7 going into the Baltimore game in Week 16, we could be playing for the division title. Not sure they'll be better than 8-6 given their schedule (Seahawks, Pats, Texans, 49ers, Rams, Bills, etc.) so just stay .500 and we're in it...
Is Kitchens still calling most/all the plays? Maybe let Monken drive the offense for awhile. the OL is bad and the game plan needs to change to adjust to that as best as possible.
