Cooper & a 6th for a 5th & a 6th? AB doing masterful work. I'm still all in on Wilson at 13 or Williams in a trade back spot.
I’m with Corch … maybe it’s because we knew Jamo before he blew up, but he doesn’t have the all-around skill set the other WRs do. He’s just got exceptional jets.
Tomorrow starts the legal tampering period and Benjamin Allbright saying that the Browns are real players for Von Miller and Allen Robinson (depending on Landry). Things could get real interesting in Cleveland.
I'm kind of surprised they haven't signed anyone yet on day 1. I don't expect them to go crazy like Jax but figured they'd bring in one or two people. Would have loved to get this guy at this price.
Probably wait on some perceived value and draft one in the first tbh. I'd be interested in Eddie Goldman, Akiem Hicks, Vernon Butler, Jarran Reed, Sheldon Richardson, or Hankins.
Doesn't seem that way. Regardless of how I feel about him and his off the field stuff, giving up 3 firsts is a really steep price.
I think I want Deshaun Watson now more than ever as the Cleveland media self-righteous dickbags are starting their protest against him and it would be funny to watch them have to cheer for him.
If Watson was found guilty of accusations, he should be jailed for a long time. If he is cleared, let the man live. Not enough evidence was found against him to indict him by a grand jury.
He’s still got 22 civil suits hanging over his head and possible suspension from the league. You have that take to spite the admittedly awful Cleveland media but what’s your response if they trade 2-3 firsts for him and then he’s suspended half the season?
Watson is at worst a sex offender, at best a perv - but if the guy is cleared of all his legal trouble I have no issue with him playing for Cleveland. I get the other side of it, but I want to win games.
Exactly my thoughts. If he's found guilty of just one of these sexual assault accusations, fuck him forever. If he is cleared, yes, I would like him on my football team.
It sure would be vintage Browns to miss on Watson, lose Mayfield in the process, and end up with a journeyman backup taking starter reps next season, wouldn’t it?
Baker just sucks. I think too many people blame his injury for his shitty play last year and ignore all the evidence that he was just bad. Even if he improved from last season he’s likely only an average QB and that’s not good enough to win. It’s almost like the NBA in that they need to go for the super day QB or bust.
I get it, and as a fan it’s hard to want them to lose. It’s pretty simple in the NFL right now: You either have the elite QB or you are trying to find it. The browns have built a really good roster and could easily compete with a top QB. Another season of semi-winning isn’t doing anything and losing next year could be the best route. Either they trade up for a young stud or take their swing at the next stay QB that wants a new team.
