I like Zegura and he's got a tough gig but he is going to pump sunshine no matter what they actually look like
I was listening to Joe Thomas talk this morning on his podcast with Andrew Hawkins. He has the OL ranked Becton, Andrew Thomas, Wills just from being on the field and watching them move. He talked about Wirfs, but said that he might need to play G for his first year to clean up his game, but that he definitely has the athleticism to play OT.
understood. like you said, thats his job to pump up everything browns. I just liked it for the use of the word authentic.
Offer something that’s front loaded with no dead money After 2 years. 4 years/$75m - $40m guaranteed in first two years.
smart move imo. hes been such a meh player for a few years now. no way he was worth paying 9m this season. the move clears 6.676m in cap and leaves 2.4 in dead money.
Decent LBs in FA. Cory Littleton, Blake Martinez, De'Vondre Campbell. Going to need to sign a couple.
Cory is getting paaaaaid. not touching that deal. Martinez sucks. Just draft one, and sign a couple of UDFAs
Would be fine with paying Littleton around 10-13 mill. Not sure what he is asking for, but we need another proven backer. Don't feel comfortable at all with just Wilson and Takitaki, especially Takittaki. Martinez is more than capable of filling Schobert role. Over 500 tackles in his four years in GB and wouldn't break the bank, plus still relatively young and improving.
if the Browns front office isn't comfortable paying Schobert 10m, why would the front office pay Littleton 10-13m? agree with both of you about Takitaki. he has a lot to prove.
Really like those stats the last two seasons. I don’t think they love having just Njoku, and this class is kind of weak.
Stefanski lined up in 12 personnel in 35% of snaps this season. We needed another TE (or two), but yeah, that's a big contract.
Keeping Njoku this year is likely. He's still cheap and you can trade him if someone makes the right offer
Njoku seemed on a great trajectory before the injury and now he's obviously going to the #2 guy getting less snaps. Kinda sucks. Although the 12 personal percentage might be a lot higher than 35% with those two guys on the team.
i also wonder if they are going to move OBJ now. Got more money invested in the TE's and you've just alleviated some pass catching concerns before moving him
Damn. Didn’t know the greatest TE of all time was just sitting on the Falcons for the last few years.
