PFF’s write your from their FA guide: “27. DI ANDREW BILLINGS Andrew Billings has played the sixth-most snaps at nose tackle the last couple of seasons and sat right around the 50th percentile in two-year grade. When at 3-tech, his pass-rushing was below-average, but at nose Billings owned one of the 10 highest grades and win rates. In fact, his win rate at nose tackle was actually two percentage points higher than his win rate at 3-tech, which is fairly uncommon to see. “
He was graded higher than Joe Schobert last season, overall, stopping the run and in tackling. Pass coverage was comparable. GB rotated LB's too much and he never really got his feet under him there. He was excellent in 2018 in NY. With Joseph, Goodson and Billings, we are adding beef and power up the middle.
10. Becton, OT Louisville 41. Winfield, S Minnesota 74. Gay Jr, LB Miss. State 97. Claypool, WR Notre Dame 115. Davis-Gaither, LB App. State 187. Divinity Jr, EDGE LSU 244. Williams, DT MSU
Young, Okudah, Simmons, Becton, Wirfs and Wills are all gone. There’s nobody to trade back with. Who would you take?
There really isn’t that much of a drop off from what most consider the top tier (Becton, Wills, Wirfs, Thomas) and the 2nd tier OT’s (Jones, Jackson. Cleveland). There is a growing opinion that Wirfs is better off at OG in the NFL. In the scenario above, I’m taking Derrick Brown and trading back up into round 1 for Jones or Jackson.
Realistically I'd probably take Derrick Brown or Kinlaw and try to trade back up in the late first for Jones or Cleveland
Some rumors circulating over the past few days that we are listening to offers for OBJ and Jarvis. Specifically Jarvis and MIN. OBJ being linked to SF. My gut says they're bullshit, but i guess its something to pay attention to.
For the record, nearly every player’s name is involved in some sort of trade talk every single year, not trying to be an ass.
OBJ's stock can't be any lower than it is now, you'd get 50 cents on the dollar compared to what they traded for him (which was already a decent deal). I don't know why you'd want to trade him now unless he's so cancerous Stefanski doesn't want to work with him.
Wow....we are really going after Everson Griffen. Spoiler Hearing Griffen comes down to............... 10 VIP Back To Topics Posted on 6 hrs, V I P, User Since 47 months ago, User Post Count: 0 6 hrsVIP 47 months ......... three teams presently, with the Browns being one of them.
If they trade him, I'm fine with that. However, I would like to see what he could do in an offense that has an actual game plan.
I just don’t see the upside of trading OBJ right now. The Browns will probably get virtually nothing for him. Why not give him a shot in (what we hope) is finally a functioning offense? Unless he is truly a locker room cancer.
SugarShaun dukebuckeye and I make up the Browns contingent for the tmb mock and we've taken Wills at 10 and Winfield at 41. If you guys have any suggestions for our third rounders let's hear it.
i agree with this. i was just mentioning the rumor because it was circulating. apparently the Browns have shut down all inquiries so we don't have to debate this anymore.
love the first two picks. perfection. not sure Winfield will be there at 41... but if he is, wooo boy. positions to look at in rd 3. DL (Anae?, LB dude from WY? or Davis-Gathier?, WR (because if we don't resign higgy, we don't have much depth, and this is deepest WR depth in a while)
Seriously. It's wishful thinking to believe there won't be a controversy the first time Mayfield costs us a game with terrible interceptions.
Bishop and Zagura on Cleveland Browns Daily, who have seen the new uniforms, are saying these aren't them. :(
