That makes sense. I watched basically all of Minnesota’s games as a Big Ten west team and Rashod Bateman and Rodney Smith fantasy owner. I still watched a lot of LSU, too, but I likely watched more Minnesota.
Yeah and not sure what his trade value is with OJ Howard and other TEs also in the market. 4th round is high to take someone you don't think you'll give an opportunity to be in the gameplan, so not a good sign for what they think of him
I do also think we need 3 legit TEs though for Stefanski with how many 2 TE sets he uses but I won’t be upset if they move on
Yep, he’s also only going to be 24 this season - we have a good enough cap situation I don’t see much risk in terms of just picking up that 2021 option.
So it looks like our front office is somewhat in line with PFF with how highly they think of a lot of these picks. I personally really like Albert O and Brycen Hopkins at TE, but looks like they preferred Bryant.
The funny thing about the condescending accusation is that I wouldn’t be surprised if he had not seen or had barely seen Winfield
I liked the pick. You were a super condescending prick about people that didn’t like it. It should say something to you that I was on the same side as you and still thought that
While I preferred to get an edge guy, WR or another DB I’m not upset with that pick. Plus basically a free pick for moving down in the 2nd
Happy with the first two picks today. Draft Twitter says that Harris is a great scheme fit and the tight end is an ideal H
Assume we’re moving Harris to G? Really like where the team is at other than LB. Hope we can use our space and draft capital next year (11 picks) to make a trade
The Homer in me preferred KJ but I said I'd be happy with either. If he can learn to catch the ball he'll be a steal
Nick Harris is probably my favorite pick because he seems like a really good value and fit. I think he'll push for the right guard spot
Day 1: A. Got best OT and probably the most ready to play day 1. Day 2: A. Got 2 very talented guys and got a 21 3rd. Day 3: B+. Stefanski loves TE and we may have gotten the best one. Harris seems like the perfect fit and I think DPJ is worth the “risk” in round 6 and that both he and Harris are great value. Overall: A
DPJ is exactly the type of WR we need to compliment Odell and Jarvis. Urban was absolutely gushing over him the other day. Like others have said, I think Harris pushes for the open guard spot immediately. Bryant is going to be outstanding in this system, and gives the Browns a lot of possibilities at TE.
Wills is an A pick. Trusting Joe Thomas’ evaluation and give me the sure thing over Becton’s ceiling. Got our guy 100%
We got guys at our two biggest need spots (LT and S) who have as good of a shot to 1. be a pro bowler or 2. be an immediate impact player as anyone else in the draft, so that alone should give us high marks.
Personally I give this Browns draft a grade of "Won't complain" As I refuse to ever be optimistic about the Browns again, that is my highest possible grade.
