If BL loosened their ownership rules, would think Eintracht would be a top target for foreign ownership with huge money.
But for real it's a fun league to follow. Lots of great things to it, but still a lot is messed up to Bayern's benefit
There’s others that have posted about it at length. But I don’t think it’s happenstance that Bayern have dominated the league like they have
think Dortmund's probably the closest thing I have to an overseas rooting interest with the role Pulisic plays for them, not gonna give them a spot on my prestigious fan of section, but I have added them to my YoutubeTV library
They dominate in part because their rivals sell them players well below market value for no apparent reason.
https://www.transfermarkt.com/fc-bayern-munchen/alletransfers/verein/27 Here's Bayern's transfer history. I don't see many, if any, transfers fitting the situation you're describing.
Thiago, Lewandowski, James, Boateng, Kimmich, Coman, Robbery (obv. a while back), were all amazing deals and represents the spine of their team if you exclude the homegrowns like Müller.
I don't care enough to get into this discussion. I'm not the first, nor will I be the last, that think Bayern has benefited in it's existence due to the structure of the DFB and the BL. If you want to think they've done it all on their own, have at it.
And because it just hit me, one of the reasons that I feel Bayern gets help is the fact that the 50+1 rule is still in existence preventing a lot of clubs from growing financially.
