    Yeah it’s a Fox thing

    My guess is that players don’t like being asked to watch what they say and fake crown noise helps cover it up

    I hate the fake crowd noise for this reason (more relevant for the inevitable NBA/NHL/MLB restarts) and because it’s dumb to pretend they’re playing in front of a crowd
