I was thinking about that earlier and I don’t see a scenario where they can overcome relegation in this global climate. In a period where the big clubs turned the biggest profits in the history of sports, S04 managed to incur six figure debt over the course of a single season. Now they’ve got no liquid assets, no savings and they’ve firesold anyone on the roster that had any value.

Wes will be 20 million this summer from Juve but other than MAYBE Kabak, Serder, and Harit, no one else is even worth buying. There are some kids but the ones worth anything have already been jammed into the lineup. It really is shocking how fucked the club is. Ultras are fighting management on the corporate re-structure too. Just an absolute mess before COVID...now, woof. Not sure the club survives in any recognizable form after this season if fans aren't allowed back in.
