Would anyone be interested in buying a sub to a service for the year? I don't even know who has the best one. We could split the cost and have one guy send the pics out via PM to the guys that donated to the cause.. Thoughts?
Here's what I'm thinking. Dbl pays for service. Dbl posts all of the services picks on here under his name. Gambling Board chips in and gets Dbl a pizza party at the end of the year as a thank you for all the winnings.
DO NOT pay for anybody's pics!!!!!!!!!!!! Units aside....the BEST handicappers will hit no more than 75% of their selections...with a little work a novice can hit 60-65 percent of their selections....if there's anyone in particular your'e looking for...I may have access to their selections.....

You can normally find all touts' picks for football season for free on the internet. No sense in paying. If you really want to buy something to help, I would direct you to foxsheets.com
Would foxsheets help oyu with your picks? I mean, let's be honest, a lot of people here are going to ride your picks this year. I know they'll weight heavily in the games I play. Not saying I'll play them all, but if you have a 5* play against a game I was going the other way, I'd stay away from it all together.
I have a group of 6 people that already subscribes to NorthCoast and Phil Steele. We have been members for about 4 years now. We get the Power Sweep newsletter each week (it is packed with tons of great information) and all of his "Late Phone Plays". This year, our group went backwards from 10 to 6 people, which obviously made the package a little more expensive than normal, thus, we are looking for some replacements. Once the picks are given out, I am responsible for sending them out via email. Each Saturday, we get 5-7 "star" rated picks and on Sunday we get 3 star rated picks, in addition to other Top Opinions, Regular Opinons, and Marquee plays. These star rated plays are based on a 3-5 star basis, 5 being the best play he releases. We also get a number of star rated Totals plays each week in both college and NFL. Although we do get them, Star rated plays aren't guaranteed on Thurs/Mon/etc. We have bought in for September Executive service which means we get every play he releases, and then we will determine which package we go with for the remainder of the season after Sept. FYI, he is now 8-1 on the preseason (he had NYJ +3 last night). Let me know if you all might be interested, and we can talk off-line about cost and what not. Realistically, we are probably looking at about $200-$250 for the entire season of picks, if we can get about 4 or 5 more people. It is definitely worth it and I am sure that we can work something out. BTW John..Great Sig!!!!!

Again there's no point in buying a touts service plays, even in a group. They're all over the internet for free. D4H has already done a great job posting most of them here.
Well, I know lines move quickly when they release their plays. If we get 20 guys to go $50 a piece, that's $1000 to pay for the service. That way, we get it right away, with no way for it to hit the net, and we don't have to worry about games having moved 2 points by the time we get them. Just a thought...
You're overestimating the effect that individual touts have on books. There are hundreds of them out there. It's pointless for the book to pay attention to all of them.
I want to send out a warning to some of you if you decide on buying a service. I found this out while I was on different boards. The big names of tout's coordinate with the books about which games they are going to release so the books can be ready for the massive money coming in. RAS moves Basketball lines by 3 POINTS. 3 POINTS. Dr. Bob moves CFB lines by 2 POINTS. Also if you are going to gamble online you better watch out. I know people that just played RAS CBB plays and the online books do 2 different things. 1.) They start changing lines on you. I know someone and his brother that had accounts on Bookmaker and one line was -3 and the other was -4. THE EXACT SAME WEBSITE. How do they know to change certain games BECAUSE the touts tell them. 2.) Also know a guy who only bet RAS lines and the website shut his account down.
They're all out there for free, but try finding the plays on the web on Saturday/Sunday morning when they are released to us. As 8 mentions, by the time you find them, the game has already kicked, or the line has moved 2 to 3 points. I'm not trying to twist anyone's arm to join, I'm already in there and I'm a satisfied customer, I was just replying to the thread. Fact is though, paying for them and getting them when we get them is the only way to get them in a timely manner. For the font that says don't pay for this shit that he used to run one of them, did you have your own preseason publication or radio shows? I didn't think so. Don't flame!! I won a lot of money last year using Phil, and if the run he is on right now is any indication, this year is going to be another good one.
Again guys, I'm not trying to solicit anyone or push some bogus service onto someone here. I've been with this handicapper for sometime, and I have experienced good results. He is very reputable and is one of the better guys in college football. Its not some John Anthony bullshit from Two for the Money.

I use Phil Steele too. Have been with him for the past 3 years. He tore the NCAA out of the frame for the most part last year. I think Phil knows his ish and he is hopefully going to kill it again this year. I know he has killed the Bowl Season package each year for the past 3. My friend told me about Sem and i started tracking it (i know ive thanked him before, but thanks again man, seriously). I would use what Phil and Sem had to say on the same game, id bet about 9 out of 10 that they both felt strongly about HIT, with some real no doubters along the way. IF they were both high on it, i would load up. It worked last year for NCAA FOR SURE. I wasnt on the RB the season before that, just on the dawgvent so i dont know if it was like that the year before or not. I think this is a great idea. PM the info please......
i dont have the executive service yet. Before i would get a weekend and share with a few friends and theyd get the next weekend. I do have the preseason package (hes 8-1 so far, no shit), next play is Thursday, i will post it

I'm not SEM, but I don't believe that is what he was saying. The line moves with the book because of all the action. However, the font in which SEM was responding was saying that these "services" move the line purposely to make their selection look better. At least that is how I took it.
I get Jim morrisons picks. He has system plays that are unbelievable. They have lost once in the last 5 years.
Yeah. A chasing system that has won me 2 grand in 6 weeks Betting 60-75 dollars on the A game. We have had one C game and we killed them.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but there is no way in hell that I believe that. The best handicappers in the game can't hit that high of a percentage. Just saying something that ridiculous causes you to lose any credibility in my eyes.

its not a play like a one game pick. his official system plays go up to 3 games (like a baseball series) and he has lost one of those in 5 years. if you lose the first you bet the second if you lose the second you bet the third. Its a chase system that can be scary but does work.
