Disclaimer: i am a big ND homer and this is my small take on the game. I got ND -13.5 awhile ago, and I still would take ND at -14. Home opener in what could be Charlie's last season if shit doesnt turn around. Nevada had the 119th ranked pass defense in the country last year. If anything is considered strong for Notre Dame it would be the pass game. ND returns 10 starters on offense and though we will see some new faces on D, there will def be some upgrades. Teo/T.Smith will be better than M. Crum in the Lb corps and ND's db's might be one of the most under looked secondaries in the country. Kapron Lewis Moore , though just a RS freshman, should bea positive upgrade at DE and hopefully keep a John Ryan off the field for good. Ian Williams and Ethan Johnson are both back as well, however depth is a major concern. Overall, ND's athleticism should help them run away with this game, but the same thing was said last year in what I would consider an embarrassing win .
