Just started playing War Zone this week, not a fan of BRs generally but this one is damn good. Got our first win in quads last night.
Just saw a video of someone in the gulag using the spray of their character and tagging the walls and just waiting for the other person so shoot at them
Fucking genius. Saw it done in Rammaza just outside of objective C heading towards A. Guy got an execution kill.
Negative results, but dr is convinced it was false negative as I’m still having breathing problems and still don’t have my voice back. Said that can last for weeks though.
That’s what this guy did. Sprayed it on the wall where you start off and went to the side and hid and waiting till he came to him and started shootings at the spray and went around behind and got an execution on him.
we played mostly 10-12 man custom matches at night this weekend since that's more fun than having 4-5 different groups trying to jump (and comms is a nightmare in huge XBL parties) but unfortunately most of the TMBers that play are very game-chat averse and when I've invited PS4 people to join up customs nobody will leave the party so they can talk with us
Trios >>>>>>>>>> Quads. Finished top 3 in ~15 trios yesterday. 5 wins. 2 more wins in quads but gatdamn it took some of the best communication I've ever been a part of and avg ~18 kills by me 47 straight and Jumpset. VictorJ24 was the glue that held us together.
oh no private gunfight games mostly. obv we're not streamer talent but most of the people are as good as the better players you'll see in multiplayer modes. Good way to keep the skills sharp for warzone though.
I'll be on later, but without a mic again since my system is setup on the same floor as the bedrooms. Need to move my xbox downstairs so this isnt an issue.
Don’t play a ton WZ because I burned myself out on BRs with Fortnite. Gotta a WZ dub tonight due to some superb map management and I forgot how good those BR wins feel. Might play a good bit more now
https://www.sportingnews.com/us/oth...rewards-how-to-get/14olwrhvahbeh1uikkjmpvtkjk What is "Most Wanted" in "Call of Duty: Warzone"? "Most Wanted" is a new type of contract that can be found around the map in all types of "Call of Duty: Warzone" games, regardless of squad size. Accepting it shows every opponent in the game where you're located on the map for a set period of time. In effect, you become the top target in the world for a few minutes and likely have to fend off waves of enemies until the timer ends. How many teammates can the "Most Wanted" contract revive? So why would anyone want to take on the "Most Wanted" contract? The rewards might just be good enough to warrant the risk. If you stay alive for the duration of the bounty, any fallen teammate will return to the match for free. There is not a player limit, so conceivably the last one standing of a four-person squad could bring back all three of their friends without needing to use a buy station. There will also almost certainly be a big cash drop for completing the "Most Wanted" mission on top of the revival reward.
this is insane. Have to think the best strategy is to get in a car and drive off into the outskirts to hide for the 3 minutes
I've been playing a ton of multiplayer recently, kinda re-fell in love with it again, but I'll be jumping back into WZ soon.
The people that’ll get those are hackers and streamers. Most average joes will attempt once and then realize it’s not worth the risk
The people I play with will probably do it as well and we'll just take the L in those games while everyone bitches in disbelief that they didn't magically turn into Rambo with a 4+ K:D "awe what the fuck bro I how did he get me." I look forward to more easy Ws in trios when people get these and teams 3rd party one another en route to the hunted team.
you got your wish. apparently they replaced all bounties with most wanted contracts. so these things are going to be going off non-stop
The akimbo snakeshot magnum pistols are ruining the game...new generation noobtubes and they didn't nerf them in today's monster update. Can't understand why they didn't do anything about it. Taking bounty contracts out is a crazy decision as well. Those helped force engagement and action. Now its going to be more stagnant and camp heavy Edit: Bounties are still in solos though
This might not be a popular opinion but I have personally believed that Bounty contracts were unbalanced and not really fair. They give an advantage to the attacking team by knowing the location. Sure the defending team can setup a "trap" but thats overly hard to do as it likely means spreading your team out. It also had a tendency to place a bounty on someone that was completely out gunned. Whether it was at the initial drop or a later drop, get a bounty on your with nothing to fight back and it was quick death most of the time.
I disagree. There is no advantage at all...the location isn't pinpoint it is an area and the team being hunted has a threat level alert. If the threat level gets yellow or red you know just as much as the attacking team does...that you are both in the general area. Give it a few days and I think you'll see why Bounties were essential in a game like this with the map the size that it is and the amount of large buildings and areas to camp in
Not to mention the Bounties were the best way to collect cash. The new contracts last up to 5 minutes. Way too long
Akimbo revolvers and rpg will be nerfed soon. They probably should have been in this patch, but it will be addressed before too long.
2 out of 3 on Most Wanted contracts so far. You can cheese them easily by getting one then getting in a vehicle and driving around 5 min. Probably most efficient way to bring back 3 teammates if you're down to 1 player. Prob will increase game length bc they're prevalent on the map. Just as frequent as any other contract Bounties were the worst contract to get, period. Not sure why anyone would go after a bounty if a recon or scavenger is available other than the thrill of the hunt. Otherwise a terrible strategy if you're playing to win
They butchered the in game scoreboard. I can't fathom how their 'fix' made it through the testing phase. Absolute abortion
You'd hit start, then RB, and you could see the entire scoreboard. Now, you hit start, and it's right on that page. Except if you're playing quads, the 4th player is off screen so you have to scroll down (7 clicks) to see the 4th score.
Taking away Bounty contracts and replacing them with 5 minute King contracts, essentially useless when you need them most in end game scenarios, has to be the dumbest thing I've seen in a video game in a very, very long time.
Damn I’ve jumped into your lobby for this like 5 times then jumped out in confusion. Next time I’ll stick around.
How is getting in a vehicle a good thing? Maybe Bertha since it’s tougher to blow up, but the games I play in are full of C4, RPG, JOKRs etc. when I see a vehicle on the minimap I do everting I can to get in c4 range because it’s an easy kill. I think over time you will see “driving around for 5 mins” is not going to work out many more times than it will. also big disagreement about bounties being bad. I pretty much always try to grab one at the drop because even if my team doesn’t get the kill it’s likely someone else does so your team still gets paid. Even if you aren’t intending to hunt a bounty it’s worth grabbing if you are near one simply for the intel.
The "Most Wanteds" that we won were early after losing a few guys in the initial hot drop so there are far fewer folks stacked with projectile explosives. Also, the Most Wanted contracts are everywhere. At any given time, there were 3-4 active "Most Wanteds" so folks aren't running across the map chasing one dude. They're going after ones closer. Agree to disagree on bounties. This is a Battle Royale and the main objective is to be last alive. You start a bounty with intent to hunt the guy, then you're immediately lowering your odds to win the game. Easiest way to lose is to chase kills. Losing a guy, even if he wins a gulag, still costs your team that gulag that could be used in a situation that isn't forced. You start a bounty without intent on hunting the guy, fine, but then you're on that contract for 3 minutes or until someone else unknowingly poaches it. Scavengers and recons can be accomplished in a quick and calculated manner so you can gather more contracts in a short amount of time. You get the same amount of exponential money growth, plus you get a prize to go along with it. Recon gets the next circle and scavenger gives you 3 unguarded cases of loot + a satchel to carry 8 armor. Slight risk in a recon as it shoots a flare into the air, but scavengers have very little risk. Mitigate your risk Capitalize your movements Kill those in your way ??????? Profit
Im not opposed to playing that style, but the people I'm with generally playing with cant resist fighting. Winning with 10+ kills is super fun.
Oh, do not misunderstand me, I rarely finish with less than 5 kills and my team frequents upper teens
