Downloading the campaign now. I'm on PS5, can my PS4 friends play multiplater/Warzone 2 with me? Assuming if I don't have to download some sort of PS4 version?
When does Warzone 2 go-live? I'm not at my PS5 but I swear the game said Friday but everywhere I have read online says 11/16 or somewhere around there
This. I think MP technically comes out Thursday night kinda late. 11/16 is definitely the WZ2 launch date, and I think additional game modes for MP come out then as well.
Campaign has been pretty good so far. I just started the sniper mission so don’t know how much is left but I think I see the twist coming. I like that they are using real countries and places as opposed to MW in Fakeistan. Playing on the hardest difficulty you do have to play tactically (by MW standards) or you are dying with the quickness.
nah activision has always done regional roll-outs instead of worldwide at one time. New Zealand is the first region and if you changed your activision profile address + console region to NZ then you could play at like 8am yesterday. I've done it for a handful of games bc this isn't the only one, and played most of yesterday bc work was light
first cod i have bought since the first mw2. loved cod back in the day, so i am hoping to get that same feeling again. running through the campaign to get the feel for it before i hop into multiplayer. any search and destroy fans?
WaW was my first COD. HC S&D was all we played. Used to have enough people on to take over the entire lobby by joining on friends.

Only crashes I’ve had are when squaded up on opening night. Been fine today. Got that MP5 (lachman smg) finally. The Lach-556 with the long barrel is pretty nice too idk if it’s what a grau is but it looks and feels like the MW19 grau

The party system is still a mess. Did they add pings to the minimap if you fire your gun? Was so dumb they took that out.
Think I hit my peak today. Played a few games with riot shield, knife and throwing knives. If you use the right perks and hit your throwing knives it’s an insanely fun combo on small maps like Fortress, the school? at night, and farm. The death coms in this game were amazing. Hit every throwing knife and had ~5 stabby stab triple kills at flag sites
Depending on what guns you use, you really don’t have to unlock that many through other guns. You get the M4, AK (Kastov 762), AUG (stb) ARs from normal leveling. Also get the Vel46, Fennec and P90 that way. I’d say figure out what attachments you want to use and go do those. VLK Scope, Merc Foregrip, and good mono silencers are unlockable early in gun trees. Besides those it’s just leveling up the specific guns you want for your loadout so you can get any barrels, grips or stocks to suit your WZ play style and that guns extended mag MP5 is the only gun that’s a bitch to unlock but you get the Grau before that so not a bad idea to upgrade that Lachman. I’m leaning towards running the Lachman 556 (Grau I think) with all range + recoil control attachments with either the MP5 or Fennec with ADS stuff on it
Yeah, that’s tough. There’s a ton of attachments in the game, but also some SMG locked behind gun levels. Dunno if there is a known meta yet, which is why I think it would be wise to unlock each SMG. WZ was all Overkill perk.
Hit 55. Ready for season 1. Enjoying the game, had some crashes early on but those seem to be resolved with the new Nvidia drivers.
