anyone have a Mazda CX-9? I need something big but don't want to go to the next level of massive cars like the Suburbans & Expeditions, etc. have had a Pilot for a while and looking for a similar alternative.
I have a friend who owns one, its very nice and I like that the CX-9 comes standard with a turbo. I would go at least 2018 or newer even though 2016-2021 is the 2nd gen models. I think the interior got a bit of a upgrade that year.
thanks. I'm looking at a 2021. they're offering 0% financing so it seems like a great deal compared to the Pilot.
I have the 2014 which is the old model and I wish they never changed it. what I like about it though is the amount of space it has. I can fit 3 car seats across the back no problem and pack the trunk with all the shit my wife packs whenever we go somewhere.
We just bought a CX-5 a few months back. I believe the only difference btwn the 2020 and 2021 is the center screen is 2" bigger. Price difference didn't seem worth it for us and we went with a 2020. 0% financing was good too. Only have 800 miles with only 1 trip over an hour in it. Biggest gripe is it doesn't recognize speed limits over 70 and yells at you if you don't disable the warnings.
Honda just gave me 0% financing and bumped my trade-in up to $15k so I might have to stick with the Pilot.
Need some help. Having a hard time deciding between a new tundra and f150. Wanting a v8 powered crew cab 4x4. I own a 2013 f150 now. Any feedback is appreciated. Target price range is right around $50k or less
Its probably not gonna happen anyway, 6 days left on the auction and price is already at $22k. I was angling for like the $15k range
Just watch these listings for a few weeks, so many fun racers that are built well. Triumphs, BMW, etc.
lease is up this summer have employee discount at ford so want to take advantage, anyone have the lincoln midsize suv's or strong opinions on the ford ones? nautilus and corsiar look slick
My aunt bought a Navigator a bit ago and loves it. The interior is immaculate, completely the opposite of the Ford interior. If those two brands are the only options with your discount, I would go Lincoln. Other Compact-mid SUVs I like: -2019+ Toyota Rav4 hybrid -2021 Toyota Rav4 Prime (plug in hybrid) -2018+ Volvo XC60 -2018+ Mazda CX-9 Signature -2018+ Mazda CX-5 Signature
Welp, might be joining this thread soon. Got in a little collision last night, and I’d imagine the wiggle room on my 10 year old Subaru is minimal in terms of it being considered totaled. Hoping I can get cleared of fault, or at least call it 50/50, but we’ll see. Never had to report an accident to insurance so not sure how this even works or how long it takes.
Wife is up for a new ride this year. Choosing between Acura MDX, Mazda CX-9, 4Runner or Infiniti QX60. Anyone have strong thoughts about any of these?
I joined team Volvo this week. 2019 XC90 R Design. Thing is a beast. What's the go to image host nowadays?
Should be getting my new tundra limited crew max 4wd today. Had to go 13 hours away to find one at a reasonable price.
if u want to send me a couple of pics of ur car I can give u a decent idea..........most of the major insurance companies want to settle total losses ASAP I know our goal is less then 7 days so I figure farmers somewhere similar
Ill take a couple and PM you a little later. Didn’t take any last night just because it was dark as shit, and in the heat of the moment I was rattled by the other driver being a weirdo and the cops lol
They're really great cars. If we didn't get the deal we did on the Volvo, we would've gotten a CX-9. Test drove a Telluride, and woof...
I had a 4Runner a while back and it was solid but feel like the ride and interior on it are a step down from the others. TRD model for you for sure but prob not best option for your wife’s daily driver. We have a Mazda 6 right now and love it, don’t know anybody who hasn’t been happy with a Mazda and it should be cheaper than your other two options.
I have a 4Runner and my wife has a MDX. The 4Runner will not compare to the others on creature comforts or ride. But the others will not compare to the 4Runner when it’s comes to resale value.
In market for an XC90 certified pre-owned for the fiance. Was hoping to lease but she puts over 18k miles on her car per year commuting, so that option is out. Hows long term dependability? I don’t want to buy her something that runs into a bunch of problems after 60k miles.
I... I've had it for a week... But really, just look around. There's a billion old ass Volvos still rolling.
Only asking because I’m seeing more people mention leasing their car than expected. Is there an easy way or “tool” to kind of run some numbers or see what actually makes more sense. With dealerships offering 0% or really low interest, I feel like I’d stick with buying but who knows.
Low usage from a lease = low monthly payments if you drive a lot, don’t lease. Went from a 2018 Chevy Equinox to a 2021 Chevy Blazer and at the end of the Blazer lease, I will have only paid $22,000 to drive two brand new vehicles.
Do you typically just return the car at the end of the lease and get a new car/lease? Does the dealership handle most maintenance then too?
There are so many options on what to do during and at the end of the lease and it all depends on the residual value. People lease swap, sell their leases to vroom, carvana, etc, or just turn them in at the end of the lease. The vehicles are covered under factory warranty, so I believe all maintenance is covered, outside of oil changes, flat tires, etc. The manufacturers entice you to go back into another lease by giving you rebates, lease loyalty cash, and CCR. This makes up for not having equity in a car when you turn it in. I am not a lease expert and this is only my 2nd lease, but it fits my lifestyle of working from home. I like new features, low monthly payments, and no maintenance. I pay $298 a month and if we’re to finance a car it would be $400+.
