I ride coop homegoods for life. They have an adjustable fill so you can tailor it to your position
How are you liking it so far? I'm looking to upgrade from a Simmons one
I love it. The one thing I will say is that it’s slightly more springy then I anticipated. We got the split king so it’s not an issue for us but I think if you got a normal king and was sharing it with a partner that you’d feel most of the tossing and turning they did.
So it appears there are a million different mattress brands these days. This is overwhelming
Do any of you guys go out and test mattresses or just order based on recommendations and research
I’ve had a nest Alexander for the last three years. It’s comfortable and is holding up well. Probably would go firm instead of medium if I bought again.
I came to the conclusion that there are a bunch of good brands and each one makes like 2 or 3 good models. Just do your home work and pick one. I don't think there is one best answer.
People with a zinus are you happy with it or is it worth paying extra for one of the brands in the thread title/leesa?
I have a signature sleep (cheap zinus equivalent) in a guest room and had a tuft and needle before I got a tempur in the master. I liked the signature sleep much more. It is on the firmer side, which I like
I've had no issues, but I got the one with the cooling gel, which I was told is a must
Zinus is cheap af, good for a guest bed, but not for your master. Find something a lot better.
Think this is the route we’re taking. T&N mint for our room, zinus for the guests
I like it. It's a lot firmer than anything I'd had previously
Officially party of T&N mint crew I’ll let y’all know how it is
What pillows do we like
Sleep Number for $3800 or Casper Nova Snow Hybrid for $3000?
Anyone done ghostbed?
Tested a bunch of mattresses and my big takeaway was that my old mattress was garbage. So I bought a Molecule 1 because it was on sale at Costco.
Anyone gotten a Saatva? Was thinking about getting one next week
I have the king sized luxury firm. I’ve had it about two years now and I love it.
I feel like I should rent a warehouse, buy all these online order mattresses, put together a bunch of makeshift bedrooms, and charge people to try out the mattresses.
Back in the market.
Amazing to me how so many of these brands started out with maybe 2-3 different layers of foam, and now it's double/triple that combined with some kind of spring.
T&N Original or Mint
Nolah Signature or Evolution
I just got my new Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Hybrid mattress, and I don’t think I’ve been more excited for a purchase. I’m going to get in bed at like 5.
update: added a 3" costco novaform foam topper for extra foaminess. no longer wake up with hip pain.
Has anyone gone from firm to soft or soft to firm? Our current mattress is an extra-firm 100% memory foam. When we got it the thing was like a board, then you kind of sunk into your personal little mold over a minute or two and passed out. That was pretty awesome. It has now softened up significantly and it’s not super supportive. I’m intrigued by the idea of a plush pillow top hybrid that’s super soft, but has support underneath. Looking for any real world stories of success or regret from changing.
Prior to this bed I’d had standard inexpensive innerspring or softer, still cheap memory foam, so it’s hard to tell of the firmness or just the general construction of the mattress was what improved sleep quality so drastically.
I like the more firm one in my experience. It doesn't sleep as hot and I find it plenty comfortable
It's all personal, but I went from firmer to softer and realized my back needs firmer.
Picked up a king T&N Mint 2020 version from Amazon. Hope it’s as good as advertised. Didn’t feel like paying the extra 600-700 bucks for the new model
I’m seeing Saatva classic luxury firm as the top on a lot of lists.
Also intrigued by Stearns & Foster and Restonic’s high end collections, but they don’t show up in many or any review lists. I have to imagine at 3,000+ price points they have to be excellent mattresses.
Lastly, the custom Wynn Posturpedic gets rave reviews from hotel guests, so I’m interested in that as well. I’m still a little unsure of the long term support and durability of newer online-only players.
At this point my list looks like:
1. Saatva Classic
2. S&F Reserve Hepburn
3. Wynn Dream Bed
4. Restonic Biltmore collection
Thoughts from either of you on your experiences since the quotes above? Or anyone else with one of these or similar?
Still on the Saatva and still very happy with it. Can’t beat the price point when comparing the level of quality of its competitors. It was at least 50% cheaper than the the more known name brand.
Exactly one year in on our Saatva and I wouldn’t do anything differently.
Which model and firmness?
How do you guys sleep? Back/side/stomach?
Split King Classic with Luxury Firm firmness level. I sleep on my back. Wife is side since she’s pregnant and was stomach before.
Saatva sale pricing just went down by a few hundred since about 3 hours ago. Neat. Probably just going to do it.
Only advice I can offer is we got ours Black Friday last year. It was 2 grand and they were running 10% off plus Rakuten was running some Black Friday special for Saatva so I got another 240 back on it. We started with luxury firm, wife didn’t love that so we swapped out to the plush soft a month ago and are loving it.
Went classic luxury firm. Sale is 450 off $1000+
I also got a referral offer for $100 visa GC each if anyone else decides to purchase.
Coop pillow veteran of about three weeks. A game changer.
Nectar worth a shit? Anyone have one?
After 6 nights I can already confidently say that Saatva is an immediate and significant upgrade over the memory foam it replaced that cost twice the price. And so much cooler.
i need something for a side/stomach sleeper that comes in cal king size
Is this still the answer?
still liking that signature sleep?
how you liking it?
We went T&N Mint king and really like it
Still using my 10 year old tuft and needle king and there doesnt seem to be any degradation or wear and tear on it
I still have mine and love it. Can’t comment on anything that has come out more recently
Loving this thing after 5-6 months
Still sleep on it most nights
