He/she looks like a cute little rascal

 

You should go back and get one of her siblings so she can have a play pal and a companion for when no humans are around.

 

I wanted to. There was 4 of them. The family friend kept one and the other two went to another home. I’m thinking about picking up a second so she can have a friend. But she seems to do really well hanging out by herself. I live in Oregon and this time of year the spiders start to invade as it’s getting colder. She thinks that’s the coolest thing ever / I don’t have to fuck with spiders which is awesome.

 

If you do get another, I say do it soon bc if you have one a while first it’ll always be the “dominant” one and not really accept the new one prob

Do any of you with longer haired cats have problems with the cats getting poop stuck in their fur?

 

Unfortunately, whenever Franklin has diarrhea or soft poop it will get stuck. We keep baby wipes beside the litter box.

about once every couple months. lemmiwinks ate a shoe lace once and was trying to poop it out. instead he scooted his ass all over the house leaving skidmarks as he went. i had to pull the string out of his ass and it was one of the worst smells i have ever encountered.

Checking in with Emma. The wife and I grew up in dog families and I was always leary of cats because a lot of them I had been around were nuts. This cat single handedly changed my mind. Will play anytime I reach for a toy and sits in my lap everytime I sit down. Great cat.

They wrap around things like a mitten
When you get him roughed up and he wraps around your arm it’s hard to get him off

Apparently one of my neighbors is setting traps with raw meat and trapping cats on his property, and then letting them sit in the trap for a day or two before releasing them. This appears to be totally legal.

I'm not sure what I would do if I found out he trapped mine.

 

Why ?

 

He doesn't like them I guess. They're not being harmed beyond sitting in the trap for awhile. It just seems like kind of a shitty thing to do.
