Controversial choice, but I like it. Corso will throw on the firefighter helmet at the end and spray him off the stage.
the commercialization and empty worshipping and empty gesture virtue signaling of an event that led to multiple meaningless wars and countless deaths all while doing nothing to legislatively honor or even acknowledge the victims should not be weighed whatsoever. it’s laughable pandering and should be treated as such
there are zero actual good intentions with this meaningless 9/11 pandering. their intentions are to say “look how much we don’t forget while doing absolutely nothing” OBL never in his wildest dreams could have imagined what his plot would accomplish. it’s arguably the most successful/efficient military operation of all time and american society’s rot and derangement refuses to deal with all the damage he wrought
Corso picks up the turban and moves it toward his head before chucking it aside and putting on the US combat helmet
it’s pretty telling about our society that gameday isn’t at army vs taliban played at ground zero respect the troops espn
You know what, the world has gone to shit. If you want to rock out to some Nickelback in private, God bless.
I for one don’t give a fuck how horrible the helmets or tributes are. Absolutely tragic moment in our history followed by the absolute only brief time in my life where our entire country stood as one and got to see true heroes at work in the rescue efforts. And the passengers on that plane who sacrificed themselves to avoid further death and destruction, is in real life legendary. I may never be proud to be an American. But watching how so many people rushed to save lives while risking their own makes me damn proud to be a human. And it gives me hope that maybe I too will be capable of such heroism and sacrifice should the moment ever call for it. Every college team, every sport team, every body should honor those heroes anyway they can.
