A lot of the big never forgeters don't give a shit that 700,000 people just died and actively worked against preventing some of those deaths
Hell of a thread to come across this morning.Just found out that iHeartRadio (Then ClearChannel) banned "Down" by 311 because it was viewed as anti-American.
it’s so funny that they clearly didn’t listen to rap considering juicy isn’t on the list which specifically mentions the world trade center blowing up lol
The music the DJ is playing at this 9/11 charity event I’m at right now is making me want to shoot by myself though. I def feel like I’m at a Republican Campaign event
The AP of all organizations deciding that tweet was in poor taste is a good indicator of how diseased our media is.
There's a thread on our 247 board discussing how cool it would be if we wore something like this today.
He’s already made it clear that 9/11 was a personal attack on him specifically. The earliness is so that they can reconstruct the timeline live.
these type of people will lose their minds if you make the tamest of 9/11 jokes all while saying shit like this that is a billion times more insulting to the people that died that day
This is the wrestler version of a kid sitting in class daydreaming about how he would personally stop a guy walking into the class with a gun.
On my way to UT/Slaw and there was a guy on on overpass waving an American flag in the middle of fucking nowhere I40. Why is it so much this year? I listened to the original Stern broadcast from 9/11 a year or two ago around this time. They all were super jingoistic. Hard to explain the environment or even remember it being so crazy. That’s probably the best lesson from 9/11 going forward tbh. That immediate blood thirsty nationalism is a horrendous response to attack.
It’s a 5k race me and some college buddies have been doing for the last couple of years. but I mainly just do it because I like going to Charleston. Travis Manion Foundation
