that BYU timeout was one of the strangest timeouts I've ever seen. opponent has 1 second and a running clock? Better call a TO so they have a chance to get it off
Jesus Ref was 10 feet away from a helmet to helmet hit and just stared past it No call Washington player stumbled off the field
Can we stop with the facade that Army/Navy is this great football rivalry? It's bad football that no would watch if it wasn't the only game on that week and even then I'd rather watch something else.
lol we’re better than soakers, Pitt and cousin humpers, egg bowl. Texas and a&m don’t even play anymore.
Oregon and Washington would rather light each other on fire in front of a police station than say anything too mean to OSU and Wazzu.
If there are more games like last year it’ll shoot back up. But the previous 15 years of that rivalry were rough.
GT is so bad it's really hurt any rivalry we had. Committing to running the triple option put them back decades
Hope they burn to the ground and I assume they feel the same about us (and should) but someone invent a time machine so I can return to Florida-FSU games in the 90s.
Might be antithesis of my previous post but the dumbest thing I heard in Urban years from Gator fans was "hope FSU gets back so the rivalry is fun again". If anyone wants their rival who they recruit against every day to win a game they're a fucking idiot. College football is a zero sum game there's only so much talet available and missing out on players who go to your rival means less chance of winning games. All schools should hope their rivals wither and die. With that being said some of those Paul Johnson years I'm sure gave you some stress plus worried about dline knees. Not sure what Ga Tech as a program can really do these days. Collins should've been the guy after the guy cleaning up the mess.
Yeah you never saw it in any other regular season games so it was hard to prepare for and that's what they counted on. It's why he was like 3-6 in bowls because teams had time to prepare for it. I think Kirby said the key is you have to set aside a little practice time throughout the year. You can't practice it the week of and hope to be prepared
I live in SoCal and I hate Michigan much more than USC. USC/ND has a lot more historical implications but in my lifetime aside from a few games the series has not been very competitive, each team goes on massive runs against each other
