That missed hold was realllly obvious, that's not a "well the refs blow calls against both teams" bad
The ACC is too incompetent to execute on any kind of conspiracy theory Basically what I think when American Democracy willl continue
By the standards of an instate rivalry game between SEC-ACC schools, that’s about as good as refereeing gets.
I'm also really disappointed in this supposed lib sanctum for mocking Kirby and Key for their midfield homoerotica postgame.
Officiating should be nationalized with a public review of accuracy. Officials assigned at random with preference given to accuracy, finishing a season below 95% gets you tossed. Active monitoring for all officials and known associates on all betting apps. Full financial audits yearly. Or we could just do what the NBA does and completely ignore huge match fixing scandals and just wait until the public forget
Wish they would. Probably end up having to rank us a couple spots higher due to all the egregious calls Tech got. And also Bama. And also Ole Miss.
It's beyond time for it to be full time jobs for these guys. The leagues are making billions, they can afford it.
I know we’re all focused on the latest shitfest but again everyone should be reminded that Tim Donaghy was literally proven to have been fixing NBA games and the nba did nothing about it. Donaghy was making over 100 calls a month to other officials (scott foster mainly) and nobody else but donaghy was punished
It’d be really cool if the best college officials don’t leave for field positions in the NFL. Make it prestigious to be a top official in college.
allowing conferences to have their own officials is absolutely mind boggling. How in the fuck could you ever expect to get fair treatment from someone whos family could be out on the street if they make a call in your favor
Florida’s only TD against FSU last year was in large part because of a call that was used as an example of what NOT to call wrt personal fouls (late hit). Like people in an officiating seminar were laughing at this call and the moderator literally said “I don’t know what this guy saw.” And nothing changed.
and if a rude frenchman happens to allude to this with an on-court gesture he will get fined $100,000
