Fire away, but I can’t stand Laura Rutledge.
I believe virtually all personal foul penalties carry over to the kickoff
I do appreciate not having to worry about their QB slipping through and scurrying for 45 yards as much.
Honestly thought our offense didn't give a fuck tonight in the second half. And our defense completely shut down the best offense they'll see all year. I highly doubt Clemson will be able to put up more than 28 against our defense.
Don’t let ND influence you like that.
Maria Taylor is far better in all ways
Bama is gonna smoke Clemson.
Bama’s D will stay engaged and hopefully not play like assholes
Tua will abuse their DBs.
The surtain hasn’t given up a td thing wasn’t cool
Surtain had a bad game but fuck if lamb wasn’t getting away with murder pushing off. The refs let that game get wat the fuck outta hand
Unforced errors like we had tonight will get us beat against Clemson. Oklahoma definitely got under our skin with their shit. Clemson won’t do that.
Jeudy was held all night
I’ll never rewatch that game.
I like the confidence, but with Miller likely out, I think this is a pretty glass half full take. If Sunshine isn't shitting himself by half, we're gonna need 35-40+.
And we dropped what 3 interceptions at least.
Yeah it could've, and should've, been much worse. Your lack of holes, and even lack of holes in your depth is amazing.
Just an amazingly selfish thing to do. Would have had them behind the chains with a running clock. Glad it didn’t bite us
We got a lot of pressure but Kyler is as fast as any QB ever will be
Raekwon is a 6'7 3_0 pound twelve year old
I mean, I’m not married to it. Just how I feel in the moment
Clemson is a pretty complete team and playing really well, with a chip on their shoulder from last season’s loss.
We are out there making dumb ass mental mistakes all night in the biggest game of the year.
I’m sure I’ll feel better in the morning cause Tua.
Minor is good, but hamstring injuries are tough, especially with only 10 days.
Loved watching Jacob's break the back of his hometown team.
Going to have to watch this game again. Seemed pretty fucky in the second half. Interested to see how we come out against Clemson. Really a different team than we've seen in the last three years.
Despite all the stupid shit we did, we still held that offense to almost 20 points under their average. We good.
Probably the best defensive performance I've seen under saban up to this point
I wish at the end of game Raekwon would have just said fuck it and beat the unholy Fuck out of #75.
When we signed Josh Jacobs, I never expected him to go down as one of my favorites. It’s hard for a running back to surprise me after the variety of talent we’ve had over the years.
But, damn, he’s found a way. Love how he runs through folks (that safety had no chance once Jacobs eyed him up) and around folks (that matadaor move he made on a run to the right side in the first half was super slick).
Go get paid man.
It’s been said a million times ITT but I’ll say it again. We have ELITE talent on the DL every season and it is absolutely mind blowing that teams never get called for holding against us. So frustrating because 1 out of every 5 plays I can see them grabbing us from my couch
I typically stay fairly even during Bama games, but absolutely lost my shit when that happened. Dropped about 10 f-bombs in a minute at a party of about 20 people
TMB is embarrassing tonight
I’ve never seen Jacobs wear a mouthpiece. Seems like a terrible decision.
How bad was the game thread? I'm sure the tears were flowing
Idk but Oklahoma fans aren’t bad so I’d imagine they behaved. Everyone else is big mad it seems. I also thoroughly hated that game so maybe I’m just in a pissy mood
Can we talk about how embarrassing our fans at the game were? Overrated chants in the 1st. Bull shit chants several times. We must have sent our worst to Miami. Yikes.
Underrated part of tonight: UA412 returning in the revoking the heisman thread.
All credit due to the great thread started by user Barves2125
Somebody check me here, am I being a homer in this take?
I didn’t think KM had a good game at all. He made a handful of decent plays and 1 phenomenal play, and outside that his accuracy was bad, he missed wide open guys fairly often all night, he couldn’t make the big plays they needed him to make, he should’ve had 2-3 INTs but they were outright dropped, and probably 175 of his yards were in basically meaningless situations when Bama was content to just let him eat clock.
Apparently because his total box score shows 300/100/3 and it was against Bama, he had a great game?
What an evening, gentlemen. Honestly, just glad to have this Oklahoma monkey off of our backs. Before tonight my dream scenario was Oklahoma then Ohio state in a playoff so we can avenge our last loses.
I’m fixing to go back and read the 5 pages of this thread I missed. woke up drunk and laughed out loud at a 5’10 middle infielder winning the heisman while Tua da gawd was slinging pineapples all over the place.... no comment on the Jalen discussion earlier, love that beautiful sob but god dammit that was fun.
Shakedown you up
See you on the West Coast next week fellas
Not really. His QBR stats bear that out; only had like a 67.7.
Still, he was undoubtedly the only reason it was close at all outside of our own mistakes; we could have named our score in that game.
Still pissed about that three penalty offensive possession. Mainly Jedrick Willis, the one where Damien moved seemed like a weird play because Jacobs was clapping as if the first one should have been the snap.
As far as Kyler having an off night, I think a good bit of his throws were off because he couldn’t see through our DL. As short as he is (no way is he 5’10”) I don’t know why he stayed in the pocket all night.
Our DEs were absolutely mauling their tackles all night long; Murray's only routes most of the time were forward, hence the high rushing total imo.
Can we talk about BRob calling a fair catch when they kicked from the 10 and the idiot refs spotting it at the 23. That is, by rule, improper.
Felt like that series was when we kinda let off the gas. As soon as that series ended we looked like we lost a little momentum with all the penalties. Super frustrating series.
We did a lot of dumb shit last night. Davis taking his helmet off. Anderson late hit. False starts.
Robinson's signal was invalid because he didn't actually catch the ball. By rule, the ball is dead where caught.
Surtain is getting a bunch of criticism this morning but he was great all year. Whenever you don't have a pass rush your corners get exposed no matter how good they are. When Miller went out we were missing our top 3 pass rushers -Lewis, Miller, and Allen. We didn't get much pass rush in the 2nd half. I thought we played excellent defense in the 1st half.
