Saw he leads the NFL in YPC since 2014. Not bad for another Bama bust.
Anyone heard from LeonardWashington or Clown Baby today?
Everything is going as planned baby!!!
To the Dolphins fans in this thread, congrats on your Tua pick up. Looking good for the 2020 season.
Feel bad for him - they’re tanking
I have Ingram on the bench like an asshole
You’re running backs must be insane to have left him on the bench. Most run heavy team in the NFL vs the worst team in the NFL.
He could legitimately lead the league in rushing this year
Kamara and Freeman. Still should’ve started him, though
I’ll be disappointed if we don’t cover that.
Yep. It’s only South Carolina but I think we can come out and make a statement about how good this team can be.
The only reason it isn't 30+ is because they dropped 70+ with almost 800 yards of offense yesterday. The backup QB looked significantly better than Bentley, and with our OL inconsistency (and maybe Dale/Lee/Harris/Battle in their first real road game) this could be closer than we want it to be for a couple quarters.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it is ever in doubt, but I can see why it's 22 and could possibly drop more towards 19~.
Derrick Henry might be pretty good idk
Aka, I wouldn't touch that line, especially with North Carolina showing possible signs of being an actual top 20 team.
Big man break away speed transitioned to the NFL well. He's hauling ass and you still feel like he's gonna get caught, but he's just in a long stride.
A man his size shouldn’t have that kind of speed.
Int for Marlon
All bama players r busts
Allen left with a knee injury, which blows. No clue how Quinnen’s done today.
Quinnen and Mosley on the same D
I'll honestly drop money if it hits 28
Titans wasted Henry for 2.5 seasons before they realized how to use him.
So we gonna talk about Alfano not dressing because of discipline? Going to be pissed if another top 5 prospect leaves Tuscaloosa as a result of being a headcase
We did a bit, but it looks like he's just not going to class so he's not playing. Probably has something to do with his grandmother being on his mind, and maybe he thought he was going to come down and never actually have to show up. I feel like he will get it straightened out, he's apparently got a good family behind him to tell him to stop being a dumbass as well.
We seem to be avoiding this ahead of time with Smalls and now Evans at least.
Per Jeff Allen, Ruggs hit 23 mph on his first TD
Cardinals might oughta tank for Tua
Wk 1 Inactives - Sunday Night Game:
Imagine hiring Kliff Kingsbury as your head coach. Now, imagine drafting Kyler Murray number one overall a few months later.
I can confirm Sark wasn't our problem in ATL, somewhat on topic :(
The Lions ruined it, of course. Pretty nice 4q collapse
It would be nice if Saban stopped complaining about the student section leaving the New Mexico State game early. It’s getting old.
Normally I'm with Saban, despite being guilty of leaving a game or two early. But when it's dangerously hot outside, fuck all that
Agreed. I left early once when I was a student because I was sick as a dog, but I don’t blame people for leaving a game that was almost 100 degrees against a team we were favored by 55. Plus, it wasn’t just students. The stadium was nearly empty at the start of the fourth quarter.
I’m told that the best place to beat the heat near BDS is Gallettes
Yeah this whole "we won't win championships unless you sit through the 4th quarter" is so patronizing and tired. We hear this screed every year. Schedule someone worth a shit if you want students to hang out in a non-competitive game.
Yeah I'll get right on it coach
Sign of the times. I couldn’t make the game and offered my four tickets for free to anyone who wanted them. Zero response.
I didn’t take this week’s response to the question was bad. He danced around the question if anything.
i'd almost rather see tua lose the use of his legs than him be drafted by and have to play for that dog shit franchise.
do you guys really think we are having a tough time scheduling opponents? I'm not saying line up Clemson and Ohio State but you would think we could find some more P5 schools to do home and homes with.
I fully believe teams avoid scheduling us because the likelihood of getting totally fucked up to start the year
why go beat wake forest by 50 when we can stay home and beat nmsu by 50
Any of you guys coming to Cola this week?
I’ll be there. Coming up Friday after lunch. Any recommendations?
For dinner or tailgating or bars or what
I’m taking that all day. Probably take it all the way up to -28
Idk but I definitely think the fanbase is entitled & it's not just the students. It's not really our fault though. The home games have been so boring with such little doubt of the outcome the past few years. The last home game I can remember truly feeling anxious about was LSU back in 2015. Ole Miss that year too obviously, but it was before LSU.
I went in 2010 so I think I'm good.
Initially I saw this and was like:
Then I read where last year in the NFL, only two players eclipsed 22 mph (barely) and all time 23 has only been hit like once or twice in the NFL. Ruggs may break the combine 40 record, but even if he doesn't he's legitimately the fastest player I've ever seen in pads.
