Brodie to Julio.
Pretty sure he was a cracker receiver in the 90s but could definitely be wrong
Jalen to Joey Jones. Another reminder that I'm 360~ days away from 30, as if I haven't heard enough of that shit the past few days.
Try being 362 days away from 40...alas, I am familiar with Chad Key.
Happy late birthday, champs
Its Thursday night at The Booth. Turkish Delight is playing. You SSN gets you in. Let’s hear it.
There’s a lot of false rumors about what goes on in the Booth bathroom. It’s actually identity thieves uploading your info to the dark web
huh. And here I thought it was drugs. Who knew me being to scared to snake the Jazz cabbage back then helped play a role in protecting my identity.
Tua to AC Carter. Now that would have been fun to watch. Zow, Su Alexander, AC Carter, and Milons was a stout skills group. Shaun could catch the heck out of the RB wheel route.
We were dangerously close to beating Tennessee on a dropped wheel route from Su in 99. In fairness he was playing on a sprained ankle. Sorry I don’t disagree with you on his wheel route catching, that was just the firsts thing that came to mind
Namath to Norwood.
I remember that one. The one I remember was in The Swamp. Zow missed him in the first half, but hit it in the second.
I thought they beat us 21-7 in Tuscaloosa? Went and watched the Clydesdales deliver beer that Friday afternoon on the strip as a 4th grader
If we’re talking best white 90s receiver it’s Go Sam Go #7
I don’t remember the final score off the top of my head, but it was a close game and want to say the drop came in the 4th quarter and would’ve been a for sure TD
Today a year ago I lost my father. Doesn’t feel like it’s been a year tbh. I’ve tried to keep myself busy and find shit to do. With the quarantine though there hasn’t been much to keep my mind off of it. Y’all hold your loved ones tight and tell them you love them.
FWIW that Harper dude said Kira is expected to go pro and that Petty is as well. Said that he’s good enough for D League and Petty wants to support his family.
Also mentioned that the kid from Yale, Jordan Bruner has been contested by Duke and Kansas so our chances of landing him are probably pretty low now.
I think having guys Amari's familiar with will help his game too.
Not surprised on either Kira or Petty. Kira played his way to a middle first round grade with his last month when everyone else shut down. I’ve seen him going to the 76ers at 22 in a lot of mocks, and as early as 15 to the Magic. If Petty did not have a daughter I’m almost certain he’d be back, but I can’t blame him trying to provide for his family. Especially with how quickly Hall has moved through the g league. If Petty can build on his d and rebounding this year, he could be a bench guy for a while in the league.
I was just scrolling through my old favorited videos on YouTube and found this somewhat relevant video from 2010.
What would the score of the Iron Bowl be if it were the last four digits of your social security number?
We'd throw a shutout.
Hahah that's great
What's your mother's maiden name?
Pete Golding wouldn’t make it out of Tuscaloosa alive.
Shit load of points would be scored
I've now accessed Dbl, Deuce, and Kirk's investment savings. I'll send you your cut soon, Clown.
Enjoy that 32 cents after this week.
Man o man what a dork
Bourbon & Bourbon & Bourbon & Bourbon.
Whew, thanks for the update Aaron, I was wondering.
Big surprise, DCH fucked up.
Barker to Julio. I'll take that.
once 10 o’clock hits I kill the JOX app
Yeah I’m right there with you. I said something about it a while back in the Birmingham thread-3manfront is reallyyyy hard to listen to. Cole does a good job and is really informative and overall a good radio/media personality. But Saybear, Landrum, and your boy Suttles are just dorky, for lack of a better term. I feel I could literally write an essay on this subject and how this show completely misses the mark on nearly all of what it is supposed to be.
i loved the RT from 10-2. Listened to the whole thing most days. Now I don’t start listening until about 730
Yeah roundtable is just really good radio. Even in a time where we literally have no sports to talk about, they are just as entertaining and keep my attention like they would during a regular sports time. 3manfront literally just rehashes the template laid by the roundtable. All of the topics are the exact same they are just presented with a different name or whatever. Roundtable has “best/worst of the weekend” and 3manfront has “hot/cold” of the weekend. I mean damnit I would rather have a replay of roundtable in 10-2 slot than to listen to Landrum kiss coles ass all show bc Cole bullied him in high school and now they work together. Also, is it just me or does Suttles groan or like almost whimper before he says things a lot of times? If you haven’t noticed it, listen for it going forward and hopefully it will drive you crazy as well
Anyone have access?
From Kyle H on BamaInsider
“Source tells me that they saw the quarterbacks throw in the field house a few times before things got shut down and that Mac Jones was clearly the best passer followed by Young. Source also said that Jones had very good velocity on his throws and looked to have added some size muscle wise since the season ended.
All UA athletic coaches cannot even go to their office during this time. If they need to get something, they have to fill out paperwork and will be each assigned a unique pin pad for that time.
One of the coaches got a talking too when he posted on twitter that players were still working out after school was shut down. A memo went out to all coaches saying: shut it down. Coaches cannot even teleconference with their own players on instruction at this time.
Just passing this along”
Wife yelled and woke our 3 month old up and I'll never forget it.
When Javy housed the punt to go up vs LSU, I thought we were in the clear.
