Mack should’ve been a decent refresher course
That was my last season on campus. Christ that is a lot longer when you see it written.
Maybe I'm too far aboard the Oats boat but I really get this feel we are going to be surprisingly good this season.
Dre K's hit on some poor Arkansas receiver running a sweep in 2011 has always stood out to me. It was early in the game when it was still close and the crowd and team just went nuts
I went there yesterday to kill an hour since they were the only place open at the time. Closed my tab right behind that skinny guy’s ass. /crazy
Edit: just remembered that some kids driving by yelled “cockmeat sandwich” out the window and it makes a lot more sense now.
I love Bryant Denny but that game day atmosphere ain’t nothing to brag about. Some of them blue hairs could use a drink
Our game day atmosphere is weak as fuck
How can they do this to Joe Namath on his birthday?
I blame Joe and his sobriety for UA not allowing alcohol sales.
If Snake Stabler was still alive this bullshit wouldn't be happening.
2-0 Win over Arizona face Oklahoma tomorrow
Hey let's play 2.
That was a stressful game to watch. Hope we break OU's hearts
What a game
Fouts will go down as the best pitcher we’ve had. Absolutely elite as a freshman. That’s the first time OU has been shut out all year
Any chance she pitches both games? Crazy for baseball but softball pitchers do crazy stuff.
Fiddlesticks always getting southlicked
Let’s freaking go. If Quinerly gets a waiver it could be really fun.
Villanova transfer Jahvon Quinerly commits to Alabama
Wouldn’t be shocked to see her come in late if Goodman struggles
Big time pickup. Looks like Oats can recruit
Come on, ladies.
Hell of a season. No shame in pushing a team like OU to the brink and coming up a little short. We’re a crazy young team and bring in another elite pitcher next season. This season was always meant to set up future success. Good showing from the ladies
He waited too long to take her off the mound. Sucks. Really wanted them to win the chip
Should have brought in the pitcher of the year after the 1st one hit to the moon.
Goodman has us at 17 with Quinerly having to sit.
#1 player in LA. 97 on 247. 40th overall player in nation and #8 WR
I was unaware that last night’s sixth overall pick CJ Abrams is a Bama baseball signee. Have to think he elects to become a millionaire.
Wow, a 5 star punter. Saban is really committed to improving our weaknesses
Big changes made to Bryant-Denny Stadium renovation plan
The plan and price for renovating Bryant-Denny Stadium has changed significantly since being announced in August.
Out is the large student terrace and large scoreboard that was to cut into the south end zone upper deck, according to documents set to be presented Thursday at a Board of Trustees obtained by AL.com. Instead, the proposal calls for replacing the four corner video scoreboards with new ones approximately 60 percent larger than the existing ones.
The cost of this stage of renovations is also going up to $92.5 million from the $75.5 million from the original request.
Work on the first stage of the stadium renovation is set to begin after the 2019 season and be completed by August 2020.
The project will be financed through a few different places including $25 million from donations to the Crimson Standard campaign launched when renovation plans were announced last August. The biggest piece of the pie will be $48.4 million in bonds.
Removing the student terrace would have an impact on the capacity of the stadium. It called for cutting out a large portion of the upper deck completed in 2010 and drop the capacity significantly from the current 101,821.
Other changes from the original plan include
-- Putting corner loge box seating at the southwest Level 6 instead of at the south end of the stadium.
-- Building concessions, restrooms, “social spaces” with televisions at the ground level where students enter on the southwest side.
-- Building two new stair towers on the west side for the suites and club levels.
The plan will be presented to the physical properties committee at Thursday’s board of trustees meeting in Tuscaloosa.
Give me grass updates or that article can gtfo
Hear me out, instead of installing more ways for students to not be in their seats, we instead construct the Gallette’s pavilion in the south end zone.
Subway line that runs to and fro, imo
This way students still have all the perks of bragging that “Gallettes was crazy” without it affecting our football team and more importantly Nick Saban’s happiness.
I’d ask Snakes if he likes this idea but as we all know he died from a prolapsed anus after sitting on a drain Six Flags White Water. His asshole and intestines got sucked clean out of his body but at least he died doing what he loved.
