Wasn't his last loss on short notice?
Not sure. His one before that was.
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Anders made his UFC debut against Rafael Natal at UFC on FOX 25, as a late replacement for Alessio di Chirico who was forced to withdraw due to a neck injury. He won the fight via knockout in the first round.
Anders was expected to face John Phillips on December 9, 2017 at UFC Fight Night 123. However, Phillips was removed from the card and was replaced by promotional newcomer Markus Perez Echeimberg on December 9, 2017 at UFC Fight Night 123. Anders won the fight by unanimous decision.
Anders faced Lyoto Machida on February 3, 2018 at UFC Fight Night 125. He lost the fight via controversial split decision. 16 of 23 media outlets scored the fight for Anders.
Anders faced Tim Williams on August 25, 2018 at UFC Fight Night 135. He won the fight via knockout due to a head kick in the third round. This fight earned him the Performance of Night award.
Anders was tabbed as a short notice replacement for Jimi Manuwa, and he faced Thiago Santos in a light heavyweight bout at UFC Fight Night 137. Anders lost via referee stoppage TKO when Anders collapsed and failed to make it to his corner at the conclusion of round three. This fight earned him the Fight of the Night award.
Making a quick turnaround to the Octagon, Anders returned to middleweight to replace Antônio Carlos Júnior in a bout against Elias Theodorou at UFC 231 on December 8, 2018. He lost the fight via split decision.
Anders faced Khalil Rountree on April 13, 2019 at UFC 236. He lost the fight via unanimous decision.
Anders is scheduled to face Vinicius Moreira, replacing Roman Dolidze, on June 29, 2019 at UFC on ESPN 3
Damn dude got his face bashed in. Glad anders found something he’s good at. Seems to enjoy the fuck out of it too.
Recruiting Nugs making it sound like Milton is headed to UGA. Hopefully we can get Zach Evans and flip either McClellan or Tyree.
3 RB's this cycle?
We just lost two, we’re gonna lose Najee, and I don’t think anyone knows what we have in Ford. I say go for it!
There was a palpable change in energy in BDS when Cody blocked that. It was so quiet before the kick that you could hear Lincoln’s foot hit the ball and then then ball hit Cody’s hand in the upper deck. And then in an instant it was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself or the person next to you screaming.

About damn time we got that Mississippi shit out of BDS.
Our biggest signing since Saban
Came home for lunch and churches up my chicken siracha ramen with some conecuh to celebrate the deal
Would everybody be ok with this finish?
- Jayson Jones
- Javier Morton
- Jackson Bratton
- Jah-Marien Latham
+ maybe 1 more WR
+ maybe 1 more OL
I’d like that. I really want Smalls or Flowe (we probably have a better shot at the former). Roy would be nice too (teammate of Christians Harris). Think we also need a top corner although there don’t seem to be many out there.
Roy is announcing July 26. We got a chance but I think he is LSU. Think we have a better shot with Guillory which is not a bad backup at all.
I think we just end up with the poor man’s Flowe in Banks.
Yeah, not a ton of elite CBs in this class outside of Ricks and Ringo.
Moore, Alford, Robinson, Branch, Williams, and Story would be more than solid after taking 5 great DBs in last years class though.
Maybe Sark can work his Mater Dei magic on Young and Ricks. I know we’re still going after LSU commit Battle, maybe we press Jarrett too. I’m always torn about Ed O because as long as he’s at LSU they’re not a real threat on the field, but if he’s fired then we can swoop in and grab some of these talented kids.
Clown Baby cant wait to get Jon and Jimbo’s reaction
What’s the deal with McKinnley Jackson? Didn’t he used to be a top 10 player, he’s dropped like a rock in the rankings.
Haha. I moved recently and found a couple of items of Ziegler merch buried away in the back of my closet.
They must have sold enough Ole Miss and MSU subscriptions last year for it not to matter.
Speaking of overreactions to consumer goods, your fraternity bro WB used to smash Sam Adams bottles that people brought to parties because apparently the real Sam Adams slighted one of his ancestors.
Are you guys pushing out Traeshon Holden?
I don’t think so. If he were to de-commit it wouldn’t be a huge loss, and probably wouldn’t move the needle too much for our fan base but I think the staff wants to keep him. Love his size, straight line speed and jump ball ability on the outside.
He seems to be enjoying all his visits and probably has legitimate interest in other schools. I wouldn’t call him firm by any means but I don’t think we are pushing him out.
Kicking him out was a lot of fun.
Sure sounds like it and I say that as a friend of his
Juicy jumbos are good and that's about it
Are those the red hots? The red hots are good.
I think everyone would be happy with it, but once again, we’d miss on our top ILB prospects.
Weve had plenty of success moving outside guys inside. As long as we get good lbs i dont care which ones it happens to be.
We aren't getting Flowe so everybody should prepare themselves for that now. But who would you say our top ILB prospects were besides him? We didn't want Sampah.
I think it’s a fairly light year for ILBs, but Flowe was the talk of this thread earlier in the year. I understand we said thanks but no thanks to Sampah, too. I just think we’re increasingly thin at ILB, which is arguably the most important position in our defense.
So you actually mean miss on our top ILB prospect, not prospects.
Sure, which is also a continuation from the past few cycles. We seemingly landed an elite/5* ILB every year, and in the past few cycles we’ve either missed on those guys, or they simply weren’t there.
Hey, I don’t like it either. I just asked the question because I was trying to figure out who else you thought we missed on in this class.
This is a tough list to swallow.
God, my memory is scary bad at times.
I love Anders. My balls were inside my stomach before the sack/strip of Gilbert. Legitimately thought we were about to blow it.
Always thought this video was the perfect example of that loudness, then quiet right as kick happens, then total explosion. Probably the single loudest moment I've ever experienced in BDS.
Marcel Brooks and JJ Peterson dont belong on that list
The guy with the white hat at the bottom right of the screen that gets 10 feet of air jumping at 20 seconds is yours truly
I believe Bone said he believes Banks should start at ILB. Certainly has the size to do so
PrinceWimbley I assume USC has the inside track on Flowe... you think we are second in line, and maybe first if Helton is canned?
If not USC, looks like Clemson for Flowe.
USC, Clemson and UGA are probably all ahead of us for Flowe.
What about Smalls?
He's killing me.
