Now we know why Newman left. He actually wanted to get drafted in the first 3 rounds
We say it every week, but damn what a bad decision for Dax Hill
I might have to make a halftime checkup on the Junkyard.
Pruitt going to get another season?
Outlook not good
If tonight is any indication, Najee gonna have a big day next Saturday.
Any word on Bolden?
He'd be so damn good for us and would be getting publicity as the best safety in football
I’m sure his parents are happy though
You and I friend would be outnumbered 10-1
Najee has had an absolutely amazing career at Bama. 3500 total yards, 40 tds and he’s still going. Legend
Also, Jase Mclellan is that dude. I really feel like he slides into that Najee RB/WR role as good as or better than Najee has and Bryce will feed him proper. I like this offense quite a lot and I love smitty with all my heart but I’m super excited for the future
Kentucky only had 27 yards after half?
I believe it. We absolutely crushed their souls with the pick six and they quit from there.
Would really like to see Metchie have a good game against Auburn. Need to see him step up and become a bigger factor. Smith is great but we need a second guy beside him. That’s what made us so dangerous last year and early this year. Billingsley playing well is another weapon for us but he can’t change coverages for Smith too much by himself being a TE.
Yeah, since Waddle went down what I worried about with Metchie has happened. He's struggling to get open as the #2, especially with us focusing on getting Smitty favorable matchups. He's gonna be a great one he's still just young.
After they missed the FG they didn’t have a drive more than 4 plays.
I hear what yall are saying but I just don't think defenses will be able to cover all our weapons , period . If they cover Smitty and Metchie they are likely not going to cover Najee, our TE, and/or Bolden. We just have too many weapons even with Waddle being out. Especially when you consider the time that our OL is giving our QB and that our QB is the Heisman frontrunner that is throwing absolute lasers with ridiculous accuracy.
Watching Moses against Auburn next week will take years off my life.
True or false: If we get beat in the SECCG or the playoffs it will be because of our defense, not because Waddle is out.
Not sure any team has a defense that can shut us down. So if we lose a game I don’t see it being more than 7-10 in a 49-45 style shootout. Obvi our defense would have sucked, but Waddle certainly would have made a difference in game we lose by 1 score.
Rank our Defensive players that start or get significant minutes:
Malachi Moore- A-
DJ Dale- B-
Christian Harris- C
Dylan Moses- C
Jordan Battle- C
Daniel Wright- D
Not sure Tim Smith gets enough minutes to be ranked and I quite honestly haven't noticed him as much, but going off what you all have said, he's probably a solid B or B+.
watching the confusion and failure to get lined up correctly and/or get the defensive play call in on time combined with the lameness of Gus' offense and trick plays that will actually work against us will be just as frustrating.
Oh my god
Just checked and I get the Phins/Broncos this afternoon. Fuck yeah.
I don’t get the phins game. Need that stream link.
We are going to fuck Auburn up.
somebody crank up the Iron Bowl Thread!
Dylan didn’t record a single tackle yesterday
That is.... shocking
Just real talk here - at some point you have to think about pulling him right? Not making a single tackle at MLB is almost impossible to do
But shit what are the other options? Shane Lee?
Lee / Kaho / McMillian....shit try Demouy Kennedy
With Moses I just think it’s psychological with him this year. He’s jogging in pursuit, gets absolutely swallowed up by OL, and have seen multiple WR and RB get the better of him in sideline collisions.
I don’t blame him for being scared, but at some point we’ve got to start thinking about other options IMO. He will be a huge liability against Clem/OSU
I’m not sure that’s right; he had the play where he pulled the Kentucky WR down to one knee early, didn’t he?
Etienne would be his responsibility lol. He’d have 200 ap yards easily
Najee needs 203 to hit 1,000 yards. I think he gets it Saturday.
I was an ambassador for the college of engineering right at the beginning of the population boom. Our mission was almost exclusively focused on out of state kids rather than in state kids.
Landon Dickerson has quickly risen up the board of best centers we have ever had.
not sure i'd rather have any of the others
Ryan Kelly and Barret Jones we’re pretty damn good but definitely didn’t bring the emotion that Landon brings.
