and, interestingly, mom’s daddy apparel
You need to cite the Blackfish when mentioning daddy
Coaches have pre-scripted the workouts, including certain specific match ups for every rep…and managers (following script) time periods, make substitutions, set down and distance, signal play calls and generally push the tempo of everything, but do nothing to coach players or correct them as to assignments or technique (which is responsibility of returning QBs and experienced defensive personnel). Players call penalties themselves, but are generally ignored. Workouts are not filmed. Everyone is in shorts, without headgear, but do wear numbered jerseys.
Coaches are nowhere on the field, but observe the workout from inside the Mal building 2nd floor offices. 11-on-11 and 7-on-7 work all takes place on field closest to coaches’ offices. 1 offense always practices against 1 defense (heading S to N) immediately in front of coaches; 3s vs 3s alternate, usually following sets of 4 or 5 plays, in same spot as 1s, and run same sequence of plays. Similarly 2s and 4s alternate on same field, but headed N to S from a different spot (towards weight room). For two minute offense (final set) 2s & 4s move to next field over (away from Mal building).
The depth chart has not changed since spring with the new WRs added to 3s. Normally there are extra scholarship WRs listed with 1s & 3s who alternate depending on personnel groups for specific play calls. Both top TEs always with 1s. Every workout Williams and various 3 WRs get reps with Bryce; also occasionally Milroe gets to throw to an individual 1 WR. QBs never change: 1 Bryce, 2 Tyson, 3 Milroe.
So no one has been promoted to 1 WR other than by moving up to replace those unable to practice. Metchie and Baker both were out some last week and Hall came over from 2s to Bryce; Williams from 3s to 2s, replacing Hall.
Williams performed very well when teamed with Tyson, in spite of match up vs KoolAid. Williams went back to main field when Hall returned to 2s and KoolAid match up (which IMO has been focus of summer practice; preparing Milroe second).
Williams has been standout play maker from first day; fastest WR. Expect him to start first game…with Metchie and Bolden; Baker for blocking. Holden much improved from last year and has most 1 reps when Metchie out, and most targets when teamed with Bryce. Hall, clearly great prospect, not ready other than to target for big play on specific route.
Never really heard a detailed account of how summer 7-on-7 works, so I thought that was interesting.
The blurb had me until it said to expect Slade to start
Hall vs Kool-Aid being the focus of the summer..
Iron sharpens iron
Hall is a dog
Slade signed with a local clothing store and wears two watches in his promo video…
The coaches know what we have in that class. They’re just trying to find out right now how quickly they are going to be really fucking good.
It'll be a repeat of 2017. By the national championship game true freshman will be all over the field making huge contributions.
I read this as "we're gonna throw a fuckton of fades to Agiye".
Saw I missed 4 pages and got excited.
If I ever have to read 3 pages of Scientology again, I’m going to start posting travel pics from Maine.
Getting Shack back was bad enough. Maybe he learned how to hit a layup this offseason.
Those last few pages moved faster than L Ron at a Trekkie convention
also I consider BRob a better version of Glen Coffee. Physical, hit the hole, and can be shifty as needed.
ok, but you do realize Auburn's head football coach, Brian Harsin, is a scientologist right?
There’s no way. I’ve seen that picture of his family on the field. That’s a Church of the Highlands family if I’ve ever seen one.
no matter what anyone tells you he's a scientologist ok?
Church of the Highlands is basically Scientology
I'm not familiar with that church but I'm sure its a cult
Consider yourself lucky, June
Auburn’s celebrity guest picker - David Miscavige
I am perturbed by the "Hall isn't ready" blurb
I must have missed the games that everyone is basing the JT Daniels hype on. Which games would I need to go watch? The bowl game and what else? Wasn't he hurt for part of the year?
This offense is going to be more explosive than the nitroglycerin L Ron magically used to kill Alan Parsans - Bryan Harsin
(Harsin breaking the huddle) CLEAR on 3
That’s my strength coach!!
Of course we’re leading the way
Yeah yeah yeah
wonder if we have some players with some sort of preexisting condition or reason why they can't get vaccinated or what the deal is with the other 10%
Remember when Chad said it wasn’t Cochran’s fault
Something along the lines of "you guys fundamentally misunderstand s&c if you think it's affect our injury rate"
Every time you stray from "Everything happens for a Riesling" Sabanism you are setting yourself up to look like an idiot because unlike god, Saban has a plan.
Reason autocorrecting to Riesling says a lot about your posting style
Mannn I hated Cochran for forty fuckin years and couldn’t even blow my hating ass load itt cuz cap would call me a weak man with small muscles and no ligament knowledge to speak of and I just wasn’t ready for all that venomous abuse
Sorry to dox but his given name is Chadwickstone Cochran
Is Bryce Young fast? Or is he more Tua speed?
Saban just said at Media Days that Javion Cohen will probably be the starting left guard.
He's not Kyler Murray, but I would say he's a bit faster and more elusive than Tua.
That’s about the closest Saban will ever get to throwing shade in public.
