Would not playing on opening week be a major hitch? Because right now, I don’t see any way a game is held in Texas in just two months. And knowing how a lot of the people out here operate, Texas will see another huge spike in late July to early August.
never forget being at that S Carolina game when Saban said fuck it and started going Wildcat with Ingram for the entire second half. Dude wasn’t a passing threat at all and they still couldn’t stop him. What a beast.
Without a doubt. McElroy had like 3 good games all year. Now, doing it in the SEC Championship game was a big time to do it, but he was a liability for us to overcome most of the time.
Rewatched the Texas game recently and man, we could not push the ball downfield with him. It's a testament to Mark and Trent that we won that game because they knew we were running and were still powerless to stop those two.
Outside of the long TD run, Trent was pretty ineffective too. Mark was a beast in that game. Him being hurt/cramping and missing large portions allowed Texas to get back in the game.
How about some love for my man JPW.....literally the only thing I remember about him is getting absolutely rocked / concussed by La'ron Landry
JPW was aces at throwing jump balls to DJ Hall.. didn’t matter if it was five yards downfield or fifty hall was working for those catches
I feel like I’m fairly decent at recognizing studs from their HS tape for pretty much any position but after Alfano and Anoma I give up on edge rushers/ends
Missing on our highest rated player in back to back classes is probably one of the stranger things that have happened under CNS
We all know college football isn't happening but is college hoops? Would really like to know for a potential Maui trip in November.
Predictably, the hype question turned into a round of “let’s remember some guys.” But since recruiting became big business, Bryce is the first #1 overall QB we’ve ever landed. Tua and Brodie are the only guys who come close to that hype.
He was. I talked to him last summer and asked him that question. He said he cracked/broke 2 ribs in the SECCG.
Watching the Michigan game on ESPN, Mac threw a few pretty passes. Also moved decently in the pocket to avoid some pressure and find guys. Jobe just took someone’s head off. I had totally forgotten that Michigan led at halftime. I bet Harbaugh was so smug during his halftime speech.
Probably announcing what All-Star game he'll play in, which by the way is the worst trend in recruiting. Who on earth cares?
It happened in the Ole Miss game. He just decided the narrative sounded better to say it happened in Atlanta
Wait, you're telling me Greg "Rhodes Scholar candidate" McElroy will play up a narrative to boost his profile?
Saban must really love him to take him at this point with some of the names still on our board. And that’s all that really matters
