Bone saying he is leaning Bama for Sage Ryan as well
JD got his ballislife mixtape now
Shucks, now we know it ain’t happening
Not that it matters but the confidence levels of the LSU guys’ crystal balls went from 8/9s to 5/6s on Ryan
We should have Landon Collins get in on his recruitment.
josh mcmillon was in the same class as ridley, minkah, etc and could be on the roster next season
My only concern is it leaked out too early, and the pressure will get to him.
Starting with five-star defensive back Sage Ryan, who is set to announce his college choice on Saturday. It's boiled down to Alabama and LSU, but it's pretty clear LSU is in catchup mode right now for the nation's No. 1 safety. The 247Sports Crystal Ball won't be reflecting LSU for long in this one.
Checking in with sources, it seems Bama is the favorite entering Saturday and that source was fairly adamant that's not expected to change. With the push the Tide have made and the buzz over the last few weeks with them, this isn't shocking.
LSU spent much of last night on the phone with Ryan and his family laying things out and trying to make the first push of many over the final days before his commitment. There was some positivity coming out of those talks, but like we mentioned above, LSU is having to play catch up. -Billy
*** I have it confirmed through a number of sources that Ryan set the decision date for Saturday with the plan to commit to Alabama, which is why LSU was caught off guard by the announcement reveal. There had been so many ties working here for LSU that it seemed like it once was a deal where it was just a matter of time before he popped for the Tigers. LSU just won a National Championship, his cousin Kevin Faulk is on staff, his uncle Trev Faulk played for the Tigers, he lives in Lafayette, he's attended double-digit games at LSU in recent years, he's close friends with a lot of guys on the team and was at the Tiger Turnout earlier this year when he stayed in town with freshman Kayshon Boutte. Toss in being recruited by Corey Raymond, the reality that LSU needs DB help and he would likely be an immediate impact guy and the rest, and it all made sense.
Yeah but we need DB help too
They’re also saying we lead for Thomas, and expecting us to turn up the heat on Maason Smith.
Seems like Saban is out for blood after O’s comments last year after the game.
I wonder if it is leaking out that O doesn't know wtf he's doing and things are going downhill after losing Brady, Aranda, and Burrow.
Yeah but it’s not like we won’t counter their press, plus if the kid really intends to come to Bama then he knows what’s bound to happen on the corn dog side.
Speaking of Aranda, I just checked to see how his season is going. Baylor has had 3 games postponed and has only played 3 games in which they are 1-2. Looks like he's off to a great start!
Recognizing that Ed is a flash in the pan (and a piece of shit to boot) doesn’t take rocket appliances
Saban ate Dr Manhattans egg and has ascended. Coach forever
Well I wasn't planning on masterbating again before noon, but here we are.
I understood saban and forever.
I love making you cum, tiff
In a group text and one of my buddies found photoshop of AJ's tat on that picture of Mac Jones after the UT game...wish I was competent enough to share here, but I'm sure y'all get the visual.
So Embody and Dixon both CB'ed Sage to Bama. This might actually be happening. Wild. Im still gearing myself up for a tweet announcing that he is delaying his commitment
Add Galu peering angrily over Mac's shoulder and you've pretty much got an Alabama QB meme yahtzee.
You may not like it but this is what peak physical form looks like.
Sage is liking a lot of Kool Aid’s tweets, which is encouraging. Kid doesn’t seem like one for drama so hopefully he’s not manufacturing some at the last minute.
Monitoring which recruits like other recruits tweets is hardcore bammering
They're not appreciating the possibility that Faulk being his cousin and being on that staff may actually be a hindrance for them. He's inside the trainwreck with the impending NCAA dick looming large.
Saw that top CB from Mater Dei in '22 picked up an OSU pick. Gotta admit, kind of disappointed Bryce hasn't been a bigger factor in some of these MD guys thus far. If he can't swing CJ Williams, we just aren't getting another kid from that school seemingly.
Yep. I know they can't comprehend this, but I bet all those LSU ties they were counting on with Ryan told him to go to Bama. Those guys know football is business.
I'd bet Trev wants him to play for Saban over a school
Kid is gonna be so good under Oats. This systems spacing and shooters with his ability to get to the rim and finish
I still don’t know why Ricks chose LSU but I’m guessing he got a fat check
Bizarre collection of names were gonna have in the secondary with Malachi, Ga’Quincy, Sage and Brian
Shavers on the move again. Damn.
Leach is running cats off.
I guess beggars can be choosers
That happened when he got to Wazzou as well. Leach knows what he’s doing.
and Deonte Brown has practiced everyday this week.
I’ve been pretty impressed with Young and Egbiobe this year. There’s still some growing pains but they’ve be solid.
Thought DJ Dale had a decent game against Ole Miss and he batted down several passes against UGA but still seems like he's been the weakest link on the DL. Egoibe, Young, Barmore, and Matthis have seemed to get into the backfield and make athletic plays more often than Dale.
Disclaimer: This is in no way giving WSP a pass. But, we do only have four returning starters on D (with Dale missing a ton of time and Jobe moving around) and seven underclassmen. We get rid of Pete and we might just have a stew going.
This is true. Also family is a fickle thing. Who knows? You have to feel if Faulk was holding down that family for years with NFL money, the decision for
LSU would be brainless.
If that were the case he would’ve committed months ago
