lol now final 4’s don’t matter, auburns fans are hurting tonight! “Scar, George Mason, and FAU all made final 4’s”
They’re collectively worse than Bateman’s nonexistent red headed little brother. And he’s an absolute shit.
God, I want a shot at the Vols in the title game so much. Beating the defending champ UConn in the final four and then beating those fucks to avenge the regular season would be pretty much a storybook finish at this point.
Id rather beat UConn and turn around and beat Edey and Purdue to win it all. Fuck Edey. We are better than Purdue.
Every time they made a run we answered. They dunk? We come down Pringle finds Nelson on a cut for a dunk. They hit a 3? We come right down and hit a 3. Just unbelieveable confidence by our guys.
Nelson and Pringle being athletic enough to help and double the post but still recover to guys outside for shots is very underrated. Big parts of their games.
I think we all did knowing he never defended. We were worried about losing his offense. Nate went and got offense in the offseason with guys he knew had the potential to defend. We started doing it possession by possession and it’s been the difference.
The mentality of we can’t run fast enough and the more basketball we play the greater chance we have of beating you and executing it to fruition is euphoric.
Ain’t nobody gonna give us a shot. Nate needs to pop in that 1985 Villanova v. Georgetown or 1983 NC State v. Houston tape. Stranger things have happened in March. Hope we get Wrightsell back. We’re gonna need him.
Somebody had to call his ass out. You’re welcome. I really am impressed with Nate and how he knew this team had potential to be great. He stayed on them and never got complacent with their effort. Kept pushing them on the defensive side and demanded more effort. I know Jarin is young and I’ve been on him like he is a senior. Really happy for him. Now I expect 20/10 from him every game.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Connecticut (35-3 SU/26-12 ATS) found itself in a pretty good battle with Illinois on Saturday. For 20 minutes. Then the Huskies went on a 25-0 run to open the second half, turning a 28-23 edge into a massive 53-23 bulge. In fact, that run actually began late in the first half. The game was tied at 23 before the Huskies finished the first half on a 5-0 uptick. After the 30-0 spree, it was all academic, as UConn rumbled to a 77-52 victory laying 8.5 points. In NCAA Tournament play, Connecticut is on a ridiculous 10-0 SU and ATS spree, with every win by double digits. No. 4 seed Alabama (25-11 SU/20-15-1 ATS) hopes to find a way to solve the UConn puzzle. The Crimson Tide rode a wave of 3-pointers – 16 in all, 10 in the second half – to beat No. 6 seed Clemson 89-82 as 3.5-point favorites. 'Bama is 4-0 SU and ATS in this NCAA Tournament. The SuperBook just opened Connecticut a hefty 11.5-point chalk, with a total of 161.5. "I think the spread will write good two-way action. But once you factor in parlays, I imagine we'll be rooting for the Tide to shock the Huskies come Saturday night. UConn will be the more popular parlay leg, both spread and moneyline," SuperBook senior risk adviser Casey Degnon said. Check back later this evening for updates on this matchup in the March Madness odds Final Four market.
