Availability report coming tomorrow so we’ll find out soon. Regardless, seems like we’re running a tight ship as it relates to player availability.
UGA’s double move play call is something we’re going to have to watch out for. Now that we are a defense that keeps their eyes on the QB we have to be mindful in one on one situations that a double move may be coming. I thought that was a great play call by Bobo.
Agreed. Our aggressiveness for causing turnovers cost us there. He bit coming up to jump the route and got beat deep. It’s going to happen sometimes with this defense. Having an offense capable of responding just as quickly is something that can help that, and also I think it kills the will of the other team. They finally pop a big play and we just respond with another big play of our own.
I think they hang for maybe a quarter. But we win easily. We will spread them out and beat them with speed.
it was brought to my attention that vandy has a lot of euro players these days. them putting a big focus on recruiting there is kind of brilliant. euro kids are far more likely to care about quality of education and are less likely to think "ew vandy".
I went to the Vandy game in Saban's 1st year. Two obese kids who had painted their entire bodies sat next to me. It ended up raining toward the end of the game and washing the paint everywhere. My next visit to Vandy was when I was planning on going there for law school. Then I visited and realized what an awful place it was. We win by 50. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Yep, JPW was pretty mediocre in that game and it was one of those typical Vandy games where they played you tough but never had a chance at winning.
Yeah I mean he didn’t even go down. Just limped off the field and didn’t seem to be in that much pain.
It’s going to be like 13-7 at half and 41-13 final. You won’t remember anything about the game by Tuesday.
I was wearing white. Think after all the red paint rolled off the fat guy next to me, I just had to throw that shirt in the garbage.
lol I was wearing a brand new white Locker Room polo and spilled McDonalds or something on it, walked around with a stain and it never came out
Easily the most frustrating thing to me Saturday night was the lack of pass rush when we knew they were throwing the ball. I know our D was gassed in the 4th quarter but I expected more from our DL
Now that Saban has retired, who of his Bama players will be NFL HOFers. Are the only two guarantees Julio and Derrick?
Donta Hightower maybe? Pat surtain, it’s early but definitely possible, he might be the best corner in the league currently
Crazy how difficult to get in it is. Looks like yardage-wise Julio will finish behind a few people still waiting to get in Larry Fitzgerald (Should be first ballot in 2026) Steve Smith (not in after 2 years eligible) Reggie Wayne (not in after 5 years eligible) Anquan Boldin (not in after 2 years eligible) Henry Ellard (probably not gonna make it)
