I am not too optimistic about a guy like him. why does he keep moving schools? Assuming there is some financial incentive.
Today's trip was completely Caleb's idea. He wanted to meet with Oats, the rest of the staff and the players so he reached out and decided to drive over. Edit: this reads like we aren't in much communication with him, which couldn't be further from the truth. Family talks to Murphy multiple times a week.
Just thinking back about how ridiculous those Tua teams were. They were casually blowing SEC teams out by 21-28 by halftime on the regular. absolutely absurd on offense.
To this day I can’t believe that (can’t remember what year and not looking it up) team lost to Clemson in the natty. I don’t know that I was ever more confident in a football team
that was the best team we had of the saban era, imo (you can of course make strong arguments for others but they made a mockery of cfb). certainly the most fun to watch. it was like playing a videogame on easy mode. then they just totally and inexcusably weren't ready to play and lost focus in the biggest game of the year. 2020 certainly has a very strong argument as do many others, but there were a lot of extenuating circumstances in that bizarre season. Like I said you can make a strong argument for many of these teams, we are spoiled af and it's like splitting hairs
Big reason why I don't understand the people itt who still slobber over Lane Kiffin is that game. Flake piece of shit
This is the Santa Clara game we are talking about unless I am missing something. He was long gone by then. But yes, I agree he's a flake piece of shit.
Not sure how any team can be above rhe 2020 team. That team dump trucked everyone. 2020 was what we thought 2018 and 2019 would be but they weren't. We had 3 of the top 5 Heisman votes lol. I get that Mac wasn't as sexy as Tua but Sark was on another level that year. Nobody had an answer.
1 game within 17 points lol. Look at that UGA-Arky run. Just dump trucked everyone. 74-3 in back to back SEC games lol
how many times did we get in the redzone and not score a TD in that game? Lawrence kept throwing it up to Ross and he'd moss one of our guys
‘15 ‘16 ‘18 ‘20 were best teams, with ‘15/‘16 being the best defenses and ‘18/‘20 being the best offenses. And we only went 50% on titles
damn, I was all-in focused on Jett Washington and then we swooped in on Jireh Edwards. Go get ‘em both!
I think Edwards is the better of the two because he committed first. Jett always sounded like an Oregon lean
I’ve also heard he shoots 56% from three and has a 104mph fastball and is considering being the first 3 sport athlete in UA history.
I'd be shocked if they were horrid again. I'd also be pretty surprised if they were much better than borderline Top 25. But last year's Alabama team proved they could lose to those types, so we'll see.
I expect that game to be a little tougher than anticipated. They are an embarrassed program and they get us at home to open the season. They also have a very dynamic QB and Malzahn and we struggled with the QB run game against Vandy & OU. That gameplan caused us tons of problems. Hopefully we've figured it out.
I was looking for that post where Gump talks about getting some bad mushrooms and shit himself blind for days and ran across posts from use 6seconds. I forgot how horrible he was.
Seriously? Clemson again? https://www.on3.com/teams/alabama-crimson-tide/news/alabama-draws-clemson-in-2025-sec-acc-challenge/
