What does Vegas know to have our line at -1.5 v OU? They must be banking on us being a different team from the SECCG by getting healthier and must think Ty will be much healthier .
Looking over these shitty ass bowls. lol at 8-4 Tennessee playing 8-4 Illinois in the Music City Bowl. That sounds depressing AF. Well deserved for those shit birds
We were favored by 6.5 points in November. 3 points for homefield means ~3.5 neutral field. Then they get 3 more for their home field so 0.5 favorite. Then account for fact that we outplayed them and you get to 1.5
that whole analysis omits the fact that since the OU game our offense has played like complete dog shit, Ty has been awful, that it has gotten much worse since the OU game, that Ty didnt look good vs OU regardless of his stats, and that he was under siege the entire game. Vegas must be assuming our offense improves and the UGA game had a lot to do with injuries.
I get that but aren’t vegas lines historically pretty damn accurate compared to ultimate point spreads?
Agree. Which makes the Vegas line a big smelly fish. They are begging on you to bet OU which says they like bama.
I just don't think you can read too much into it. We were 1.5 point dogs to UGA, they don't have a clue what to do with this dinged up, inconsistent team
On my way to see the Tide play! Got my ALABAMABASKETBALL jerry Bear hoodie on and XM channel 23 dialed up the 5.17.77 Tuscaloosa show for ride down added bonus both boys are asleep
If Byrne pulls this off I solemnly vow, here and now, to go two full weeks without bitching about the arena
In other news… seems like Damien Harris is attempting to go down the Emmanuel Acho really dumb hot take route as a career path? Shameful shit
Saturday, he led Alabama to a 40-10 win in the annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic at the University of Southern Mississippi. Crowell carried the ball 10 times for 61 yards and a touchdown. He also had a 51-yard touchdown run called back because of an insignificant holding call on the other side of the field.
