Keon is getting the herb Jones treatment so far from analysts. Would be pretty cool to see him make the roster in Sacramento. Always thought he possessed the tools to be special
Ellis is awesome. Problem is when you’ve got a guy like him surrounded by guys who don’t care about playing hard. Then he starts to lose his edge a little. He’s going to have to learn to be more consistent shooting the ball as a wing in the NBA too but I think he’s certainly got potential to play and be good in the NBA. His size and quickness/leaping ability is great for his position. And defensively he’s going to work his ass off. He saw Herb make a team and start by being a defensive asset alone and has clearly taken ti that same mindset though he’s much farther ahead offensively that Herb was at this time last year.
JD is always going to be a guy who should’ve come back for another year. I get that you get to spend all your time in the NBA focusing on basketball as opposed to college. But for a guy like him, with his ceiling, he could’ve come back and made millions more next year if he just showed more consistency and aggressiveness. I’ll always stand by the fact he really missed out on a lot of money by declaring after last year. Tbh, him getting drafted was a surprise.
Has no one listened to Nick Saban's warnings about complacency? We're just accepting the loss of in-state 5 star QBs to out of state programs? Sound like a bunch of Georgia and Texas A&M fans in here.
Is the guy who just signed the #2 class a bad recruiter? Kids want success and and to make it to the NFL. Let me know when that stops happening.
I don't know what you're talking about. I can't go a day without tuning into IN MY OWN WORDS with Stephen M Smith
The more I see him and the more I keep up with him. He actually looks like a really good piece for us next year. He’s legit. He’s putting up good numbers against good competition. He can handle his own. I’m impressed.
Trey recovered from just getting drilled in the head at a pro am. Very cool comeback story. Winning even a minor event like the barbasol is life changing. So happy for him.
from those he definitely looks to have put a little weight on him. His arms look a bit bigger. He’s also getting some really good experience playing for the Canadian team. Plus the foreign tour. He’s going to be much improved from last year imo. Really excited to see the growth he shows this year. Some of that too is managing his fouls and being able to stay on the court.
Would love for that Senior Bowl tweet to be correct on Egoibe, Dale, and Young but none of them have been consistently good and I'd consider all of them to be mediocre. If they do take a big step up this year that would be incredible.
Lonergan on board. 93 mph fastball and wins in a pretty tough division in GA. I like this take alongside Holstein. Probably two of the strongest arms we'll have had on campus the last 15 years, but both need some time to adjust mechanically. Holstein's a freak athlete for his size.
Gotta play the numbers game with these baseball guys with potential when Tennessee dumps their entire NIL fund into our QB. (And the Manning's can't get over their man crush on Sark)
