I shouldn’t be surprised CHO is starting but I am. To me, he has proven the best option when a team is looking to potentially park the bus. He’s a better crosser than Pedro/Willian and he provides more ability to take on defenders. Still didn’t think he would start but I like it. Got to take advantage of the gifts given to us over the weekend.

Now CHO looks to be our for a bit. Non-contact is never good. Hopefully it’s just a precaution but he looks to be in a ton of pain. Defense is so bad. I can’t see us giving luiz a new contract when he’s so clearly not good enough and would command a salary of an elite player.
The 5 minutes I was able to watch was 95% Burnley players laying on the ground "hurt". Typical dropped points and Barnes/Dyche are still pieces of shit.

Fuck. That’s a nasty injury. If it’s a ruptured Achilles that’s a pretty long recovery and He probably wouldn’t be back to being himself until the year after next. Hopefully it’s not as bad.
Really bad injury that seems pretty rare in soccer. With medicine improving I’d guess he can make it back on the shorter end of this recovery curve but how will he be? How long (if ever) for his explosiveness to come back? This is probably the worst injury you can have outside of a multiple ligament knee injury.

The fact that he is a RB who can easily replace zappacosta is enough to justify it but he is a Swiss Army knife player. He can play in midfield (not as sarri’s “regista” but Kante’s role), he can fill in at CB and personally I think he can play LB if the players in that position struggle like they have this season. Transfer ban or not, this team needs to be rebuilt and using our youth team to build key pieces of that squad with players who care about the team will be critical.

I used to love Nike stuff but they have started making so many trash items. I don’t one one Chelsea item from Nike and I haven’t bought a new FSU one in 4-5 years. Plenty for both teams from off brand companies.

Azpi might have lost it quicker than ivanovic did. Rudiger is the only defender on the pitch right now who should play for us next year and even him I’d prefer to upgrade and move into a backup role.
