I hesitate in saying this but I don’t think Kepa sees the light of day at Chelsea again. It’s a fucking joke. Willy can also give up goals but without looking absolutely hapless.
Zouma is equally to blame for that goal as Kepa, but it doesn’t make either of them look any less awful
I’d imagine we see ziyech for pulisic soon maybe like Iron Mickey said we go ziyech for havertz. I wouldn’t mind either move. Maybe taking out havertz and being a bit more defensive in a 4-3-3 with mount dropping a bit deeper makes sense

Ziyech can’t keep the ball really didn’t help. He gave up the ball in the lead up to the goal. But if Thiago and Mendy can’t play, it can if it’s against Fulham, frank needs to start caballero and probably play a defensive 5-4-1 to protect all the bad players.
Let’s also not forget to point out that kante was absolute trash today. I don’t think any of our midfielders are capable of playing and doing what frank wants. They either don’t have the tactical awareness (kova), the skill/passing (kante) or the athleticism (Jorginho). Maybe gilmour can play next to kante when he gets back. Until then, we need to lineup incredibly defensive if Mendy and Silva aren’t playing. and also just fucking play caballero. Stop with the fucking kepa shit just because we overpaid for him. He isn’t better than caballero. He had a decent game on international duty so we tried him again and it cost us points. How many points are we willing to lose trying to pretend kepa isn’t the work keeper in the league again this season?
I have been hesitant to be critical of Frank because I want to trust the process but Jesus fucking Christ we lost because he put Kepa out there. That’s a sloppy win with literally anyone else. At some point there has to be accountability.
tbh this is the game where I assume Roman is sitting in Frank’s office when he gets in later Saints aren’t good, we dominated, and his personnel choices cost us 2 points when the league is in flux
So as bad as we were last season, we weren’t making individual mistakes like this season. Makes me feels a bit better moving forward but still a pathetic stat. Luckily it looks like there isn’t a good team this season. Southampton and west brom ties are killers though will be a battle for 4th
Was a fair result. We were as bad in the second half as they were in the first 40 minutes. they made adjustments at halftime and we had absolutely no answer. I think that frank can win with top tier talent everywhere like pep but he isn’t capable of tactically covering for poor players like some good mid table managers can.
