kante and Jorginho just can’t seem to figure it out. lampard needs to think long and hard about looking at Christensen or tomori as a player to sit in front of the defense. Especially in games without Thiago Silva. I’d lean toward Christensen with a tomori/Zouma CB pairing. this is not how your double pivot is supposed to press. I just can’t imagine that lampard is such an awful coach that he coaches the 2 pivot guys to press this aggressively.

I think Fik is pretty aggressive in his passing as well but Silva helps with that immensely. I get Frank’s want to play Kepa to keep him engaged and possibly salvage some value but I think you just play Willy and put Kepa on ice until (hopefully) a meaningless CL match or the FA cup.
Yeah I mean you just can't play him anymore. Any potential value we could gain off of him actually having a competent performance (not happening) is offset by the fact that he's costing us fucking points every time he starts which is hurting the clubs overall value

I wouldn’t mind kova for mount, switch to a 4-3-3, pulisic on the left and havertz on the right or a 4-4-2 diamond with pulisic as a 10 behind havertz and Werner. We need more midfield. And mount and Jorginho on yellow cards already isn’t good.

it doesn’t make sense for havertz. That’s Franks issue. Who is your winger opposite pulisic? I would give havertz another shot there. Ziyech and CHO on the bench but if he wants to force Jorginho, mount, havertz, Werner and pulisic into the lineup and get the most out of havertz, the options are very limited.
Zouma gets that in a corner and that’s a goal. Damn. We’ve had a few chances to do something. Look better with pulisic on the left like most would predict.
