Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat anelka has to pad his goal total against someone
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat lmao was thinking the exact same thing as im watching him score. he will be invisible against the good teams.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat why not sub van aanholt in? paolo is a known commodity (he sucks)
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat John Terry with the "Roy Keane" revenge tackle
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat drogba is the best player in the world, bar none
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat I don't understand why we aren't giving young players PT in these types of games. Kakuta hasn't even been on the bench and now rumors are starting that he is going to leave after the season due to it. Both games have been locked up with 35 to play and we have made the exact same subs each time. I don't think the :jew: or our worst player need to come on as subs in games like these.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat best 3 game stretch in epl history, bar none 20-0.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat I think it may have something to do with our wanting to get off to a good start and our sub-par preseason form - we weren't playing too well and I doubt Ancelotti wanted to drop points at the beginning to the campaign. Thus, he has chosen to play veterans and maybe try to get their confidence up. I agree that Kakuta needs to get on the bench and see action when we have the game in hand but we're two games in so I wouldn't read to much into his not being on the bench. Hopefully, he'll get starts in early FA Cup matches and get subbed in against lesser league teams - like Sturridge last year.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Nemanja Matic and Slobodan Rajkovic to Vitesse Unibrow returning to training this week
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Wonder if Torres is starting to rethink that commitment to Merseyside yet as they struggle through another unimpressive game against their main competition for a CL spot. I'd rate them to come 7th again at best based on what I have seen so in these first two games. good to hear that the brow is almost back!
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Only team not to drop points yet Don't expect us to drop any soon with the upcoming schedule
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat there is no need for messi when you have drobga.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat I wouldn't trade Messi for Drogba. Must mean he's the best in the world "bar none."
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Huh? Messi already scored 3 goals against Sevilla to help his team overcome a 3-1 deficit in the second leg of the Super Copa. Messi has played in 1.5 games so far....
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Drogba is a much more complete player than Messi
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Was Messi on the pitch when Chelsea played Barca in the Champion's League two years ago?
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Whatever you say. That doesn't even begin to bring someone like Ronaldo into the equation. I just think it's absurd to say that someone right now is far and away the greatest.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat I'm with you. Love Drogba and he single handedly makes me cry every year but I watch almost every game of each player and can't make up my mind. I change my mind constantly. Pre-February Rooney was absolutely in the conversation of most dominant player and was leading in my book for a while. Now Rooney isn't even top 30. If 1 player stepped up for their national team then they'd take a lead but none have stepped up ever. With these players failing to step up for national team I think you have to put players like Sneijder, Mueller, and Villa in the convesation as well since they produce for their national team and club as well. Maicon is absolutely phenomenal and Casillas has been nothing short of spectacular in the Euros and WC. Don't know how you seperate these players. They've all won and all had their failures. There is no clear #1 IMO.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat If Villa blows up for Barca this year, which very well could happen, then he has to rocket into the top 5.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat messi is far more beautiful droba is far more dangerous
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Don't see you chastizing your "bar none" comrade in arms.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat I think that the top few players should have a deathmatch to see who is the best. Clearly Drogba would win, so he's the best player I guess.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Just going to leave this here for consideration.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat both buttfuck Arsenal every chance they get so hmph
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Ancelotti isn't exactly known for grooming youngsters. He is a great manager, but his personnel decisions at Milan became infuriating near the end of his tenure.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Damn if that post wasn't shockingly similar to what we saw a lot of on the Red and Black forums
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Wasn't really chastising, just saying it is like goal's top 50 list every year which has 5-6 Barca players in the top ten which is a joke. I just see it like this. Not many consider Villa a top 5 forward right now, let alone player. Drogba, Messi, Ronaldo, a healthy Torres, and Rooney are all better. Then players like Forlan, Aguero, Milito, Higuain, etc. can be argued. So if you aren't top 5 at your position, how can you be top 5 in the world overall? He is 28 years old and not likely to improve much. Just because his goal total might increase doesn't mean he is suddenly better. It just means he is in a better situation. If the best WR in the league was stuck on the Raiders and only managed to put up 1000 yards and 8 TD and then moves to the Patriots/Colts/Saints and puts up 1500 and 15, does it suddenly mean he is a better player?
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Looks like we're done on the transfer side of things. Too bad we couldn't get Neymar in to qualify for the gay homegrown quota shit.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Drogba and Essien are taking a break from international play Ivanovic said he will be out for a while so now we have no backup at RB or CB
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat In Randy Moss' case yes. It's hard to run hard routes every play w/o a qb to get you the ball. He just gave up on the Raiders.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat Goal in the first minute. 1-0. Kalou. Come to chatzy guys. Link is pinned.
Re: *Official Chelsea Thread*--Get ready for the repeat How serious is the interest in Kroos as a replacement for Lamps? I think he is one that would jump at the opportunity to leave for the EPL. He doesn't have Bayern in his blood like a Mueller or Schweinsteiger.
